Reviews and photos of my model kits.
NG Gundam Wing Collection 1/144
Hello again everyone and welcome to another gunpla review! And I just want to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and I hope you guys all have a great holiday, and make sure to eat as much food as you can. wink Thanksgiving is all about family, friends and giving thanks for what we have, so it's always great to be able to spend time with those people. <3

With that being said, I have a treat for you guys today, instead of one review on one model, I have a review on 7! For this thanksgiving, I thought it would be a fun idea to review my entire 1/144 Gundam Wing Kits! -Cheers-

If you aren't aware, or don't know what these kinds of kits are, They are MSVs, which stand for Mobile Suit Variant, which also stands for NG, which is No Grade, so they are called by many things. 0.0 These kits came out in 1995, and as you can see, they look different than your average NG or MSV. This was around the mid 90's where Bandai was trying to take gunpla to the next level, and even though they may not have, because of the time, they did make a lasting impression on the modeling and gunpla community as a whole because I know every one of you remembers these kits. They were the first model kits to come over to America, if you live in the U.S, so if you were old enough to remember, you probably saw thesse in stores for a short while, along with an assortment of other kits. My first ever model kit was a 1/144 NG Rising Gundam from G Gundam. That was well over 16 years ago, and my model building skills weren't quite "there" to say the least. -laughs- >.< I used to cut out the parts on the runners with hair trimming scissors, and didn't really know anything about modeling, so it's nice to see I at least improved on some things...0.0

To start off, you're going to notice that these kits aren't fully color accurate. They are for the most part, but because of them being as cheap as they are, they aren't going to be molded 100% in the right colors, but that's fine because if you know how to paint a little bit, you can easily paint the parts that need to be painted. The articulation is limited, but you still can pull off some pretty cool poses with what you're getting from these little guys! The polycaps that come with these kits, are harder plastic, than what you might be used to if you've built any kits. They all come with their respected weapons, and for what you're getting, it's not a bad price at all. Even though they are worth more now because bandai doesn't reproduce them, they used to only be a few dollars, and if you're able to you can usually still get them for around that price. I would suggest that if you can get one for around 5 to 6 dollars, then go for it! Don't pay more than that because they are really cool, but they aren't worth 10 dollars. Even though, I paid 12.99 back in 2002. >.<

All in all, they are fun kits to build and paint, practicing anything from painting to panel lining and more! Remember, these model kits and the ones from G Gundam, and After War Gundam X, are from the mid 90's so you can see that we've come a long way in terms of building and model kits in general. I am very happy to have almost all of them and if you see one, pleases don't hesitate to pick one up or as many as you you can!

I hope that you guys have a wonderful thanksgiving and happy holidays! smile
