Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace
Your eyes, I say your eyes May look like his
Oh man, its been a while.
I think the last time i wrote something was right before i started going to the university.
Yeah, I finally did it. My god, i have so little time now. I wake up at 6 to go to work, work until 5 pm, go to uni until 10:30 pm, get home, eat dinner, go to sleep, rinse and repeat.
Thankfully the classes are oficially over for the year. Now i have a couple of weeks off until the final tests start.

Because i started to study, it was not a good year for playing games. Which in turn means it was not a good year for nintendo to release the switch. Got it anyway, but cant play it as much as i would like.

And i was sent to Peru, again. It was kinda scary because it was my first time traveling alone, and i didnt have good momeries of when i was coming back the last time. But it all went well.
I even kind of started to like traveling...

Aaannnd recently, finally managed to program two things i always wanted to program:
a) Read printer's status using snmp
b) Program/use a Artificial Neuronal Net

I always wanted to read a printer information using snmp because... well... i dont know, i wanted the challenge. And because i could find neat ways to use the information. I have a couple of ideas, but no time to put them to the test...

And perhaps the most important, i finally managed to program find an ANN. Programing one is still ahead of my skills, but i found a code i can dissect, study, and bed to my will. I have, like, way too many ideas for what i could use them.
When i was first transfered to the engineer sector in Xerox, i had days with no tasks assigned, so read stuff about programing (I was still using VB6 back then). I wanted to program an ANN but all the codes were for c# and i couldnt adapt them for VB6. However, inspired by some courses i took on a software that can regonize digital documents, i tried and made in VB a software that did the same. Kinda.
Mine didnt use any fancy neural network, but divided the image in sectors, get the pixels desinty, and recognize the documents according to the average for each type of document.
Then because some coworkers saw it and told me it would be so much better to code it in c# i decided to start to learn c#. I did, and kinda started to do the same software, but eventually i moved on. Now 4 years later, i finally can say i can do it.

Job's fine and pretty flexible regarding study, but feels like i am stuck until i get my degree. I wouldnt mind getting something better, but that would mean losing that flexibility about study. if it comes down to choosing one, i will choose study...

There are other stuff... but... meh.

I dont know what will happen in the future, hopefully i will finish university, complete my programing projects, and keep my job.
