The Underground Archives Of Kyo
This is an archive of my experiences on Gaia Online, where I talk about friends, forums, RPs, stuff that happens in chat, et cetera. I try to update this often. (Key word is try. lol)
Challenge From Rosario
It's no secret at this point that Rosario really doesn't use Gaia anymore. All of my interactions with him over the past 2 months have been on Skype. In fact, he asked something of me a week ago. He wanted to give me all of his stuff on Gaia before he stopped using the account altogether.

I for one, didn't want to see his account go. He may not be using it anymore, but I still want to treasure it with. So I asked him if I could have his entire account, instead of just the stuff. He wondered why I would want it. But the answer's simple. I wouldn't have to see my close friend's Gaia account die, and I could continue that RP like he was never willing to. (We still have a guild for it, but Rosario doesn't seem to care.)

Unfortunately, asking for his account made Rosario think twice about his decision. "I give you a hand, and you take my entire arm.", he said to me. No longer was he willing to give me all of his stuff on Gaia. He was just going to leave it with the dead account.

I continued to ask for his items, as I would settle on that if I had to. I even tried to "push" him, like he's been telling me to do. We even did an RP battle, with the hopes that he'd be entertained enough to let me have them.

He ended up showing me an RP battle he recently did with someone on an "adult website". Rosario was an elf-girl that could get super muscular. (Rosario seems to have a thing for muscles.) And his opponent was a trap version of Princess Peach. (Strange. I was actually going as Princess Peach for Halloween this year.) The battle got rather gore-heavy at the end, and you could make a drinking game out of how many times they typed the word "blood". I was half-expecting to find the sentence, "Even the blood was bleeding.". I read the entire thing out loud for Rosario over Skype's voice chat. Unfortunately, that didn't satisfy him, and he still wasn't going to give me his items.

Then, I think I made a Yu-Gi-Oh! reference at one point, and that gave him an idea. He was going to give me the items if I could beat him in an online game of Yu-Gi-Oh! I declined his offer. Last time I played against him in an online card game, I had to make another online account that was only used a couple of times before never touching it again. I wasn't making my 300th account just to play one game of Yu-Gi-Oh! with him. Besides, I barely even know how to play in the first place. (But if I ever did know how to play, I'd probably make a deck with lots of TRAP CARDS. lol)

Then he came at me with another offer. He asked what Pokémon games I had. As of now, I have Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, LeafGreen, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver, White 2, Alpha Sapphire, and Sun. Also, I had Pokémon Red on 3DS Virtual Console, but I forgot to mention it to Rosario.

It seems that Rosario wanted to do a Pokémon race with Lock. In this race, the two players would see who would be the first to catch 'em all. Unfortunately, Lock was busy and couldn't do this race. That's why he asked me. He's only going to give me the items if I beat him in the race. He even gave me the option of which game I would like to race him at. At first, I chose LeafGreen because I'm almost finished with it, and it would give me a huge head start. Perhaps it would have been good not to tell him that part, because then he made me choose a different one.

I hadn't played my copy of Pokémon Emerald yet, so I thought we could race on that one. He agreed to it. However, I had a condition of my own for that one. I was almost finished with LeafGreen, about to fight the Elite Four, and wanted to complete that first, before racing on Emerald. He allowed that... until I explained all the level grinding I had to do first.

Regardless of what Rosario said, and how he wanted me to fight them right now, I did my level grinding to ensure that the Elite Four would go down. It was over before I knew it, and then I just had to fight them. Then it turns out that they're REALLY tough. I fought them before in Pokémon Red, and they were ridiculously easy. Why are they so hard in LeafGreen? I ended up venting my frustrations to Rosario over Skype, because I had a hard time beating them. He just joked that I shouldn't have picked Bulbasaur as my starter.

After countless resets, I eventually won over the entire Pokémon League. That meant the end of LeafGreen. So now we could start the race, right?

Well, I also want to finish playing FireRed, but I never told him about that part. In FireRed, I still need to get that Marsh Badge from Sabrina, so I'm pretty far behind my LeafGreen file. Rosario would probably freak out if I wanted him to wait some more. Patience isn't really his thing.

I also want to see if I can renegotiate the deal with him. It seems that in Pokémon Emerald, he doesn't JUST want to catch 'em all. He also wants to race me through the Battle Frontier. And to that, I say NO! I've played enough Pokémon to know all about these different Battle Frontier varieties. There's no way I could ever win, because I don't give a damn about perfect natures, IVs, or EVs.

Not even Lock, the expert of Pokémon breeding, can handle the Battle Frontier. He says he gets so frustrated, that he legitimately wants to burn the place down, murder every male trainer, and take the females as sex slaves.

Another thing, I want to see what else I can squeeze from this deal. Is there a possibility of him giving me his account? Or maybe he'll finally RP with me in our guild like we were supposed to? I'll just have to ask him. But until then...

Be Right Back, World!
