What does it say to you?
I could catch you a fly,
But swallow the spider,
Offer you the spider,
But be chasing the frog.
A cat is in a basket purring your name,
But the dog is outside fetching my game.
The windows are open for all to see, But the windows are much too small for me.
Behind the counter are scissors and knives,
And in my treasure room are quivers and lives.
You have your roosters,
But I have my hens,
And to whom I favor all depends.
So what does it say that I sit next to you,
Fidgeting and nervous but stuck like glue.
