Progress! Sorry about the lack of entries, but I've been awfully busy with the mobile app, and it is only technical stuff. Not a lot of interest to post about unless you are a code geek like me. (if you are, you can check out phasergames.com where I talk about some of the techniques I am using to build the app) Many Gaians have been asking about new features or bringing back old ones, and this morning I saw a thread about the old theater. Within an hour of arriving at Gaia HQ after my return to work, I was asked by at least 3 founders about the theater. It has not been forgotten. As some of the other Gaians have said in the forums, it is a matter of bandwidth. Personally, I've got the mobile app, games, and events to deal with first. If time permits I would love to revamp the spaces including the theater. What I don't think most Gaians realize is that after I left (2 years ago at the end of next month) is that only Lionheart and Narumi remained as devs. Lanzer has now tripled the dev staff so we are getting a lot more done! There is just so much to do, and so much to catch up on. I think you can see that progress is being made by leaps and bounds compared to the years just before Lanzer's return. We'll just call those the dark ages from now on. When we see Gaians asking for features we would really love to work on, it is painful for us not to be able to jump right on it! Keep the feedback coming and keep asking! Just please do not be too upset if we can't get to it right away, or have to say no. It doesn't mean we don't care, it just means we are juggling with 1000's of other requests and projects. Here is my current list in order of priority 1.Mobile App 2.Events(moves to #1 when an event time comes near) 3.Games 4.Converting Spaces to html5, including VH, Towns, Theater and Rally Thanks for your support and understanding!

	Make sure that in theaters, it's for specific content only and it doesn't bring the issues that happened before with custom playlists.

	Yeah, the Dark Ages sounds like a pretty good way to describe Goldemort's reign. I don't remember whether I knew before that Goldemort stripped Gaia down to only two devs total, but it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Endless thanks for your efforts in making Gaia Gaia again! (I think I can hear Knight Yoshi hurrying over to phasergames.com from here...)

	I think what I'm going to take away from this journal entry is that Lionheart has been around for a lot longer than I thought and I shouldn't feel like he stole excitable sloth's role as the face of LK. xD Anyway, I have to ask, which Towns is it you're planning on converting to HTML5? Because Towns 2 sucks for paper, flower and bug gathering. If you convert it, can you at least give it the same amount of gatherable materials as Towns 1? also, do Cards first and give Russell Ace an NPC account

	Only 2 devs for a site like this? That's insane. I'm glad you guys are poking around those threads. I also totally get the high workload. So much to do, and so little time. It's impossible to grant everyone's wishes in such a short amount of time. And converting things to HTML5? Wow. I mean, it's probably more secure and whatnot, but wow. Good luck.

	I'm not a software developer but I understand that coding takes a lot of time and effort even though some people make it look/sound easy. Thank you for all you have done in the past and all that you're doing now to bring Gaia out of it's Dark Ages. I doubt I'll use the mobile app due to my lifestyle but I'm glad it's a priority. Gaia needs a good mobile app to compete these days. I'm hoping it will bring more people to Gaia, and more people on Gaia will benefit all Gaians in the long run. 	Dark ages is an appropriate naming for that area... There are other things I disagree with on the site but none of it is related to the Development side of things. Thank you and the rest of the team for the hardwork. Things are running great even if we don't notice them... in fact the not noticing of them is probably all the evidence I need xD

Please don't mind the peeps who keep hounding the staffs for new updates. u - u Having everything good and running smoothly is much better than having to rush things and it going wrong. 	hi, long time gaia user wanting to come back but kind of put off by the state of the site from a technical perspective. I would be totally down to donating (my meager) money (lump sum, monthly, whatever) directly to the Gaia redevelopment fund if you guys had a page that just...tracked progress and let us see a more transparent view of what was going on. The new mobile app sounds fun but personally i'd rather the site just... be more mobile friendly if that was possible with responsive design elements. Gaia is a big part of how I met many of the friends who have stuck with me my whole life and I want to be able to do my part to contribute specifically to it's recovery.
