*These can be altered and tailored according to interests of the person I'm RPing with; these just serve as the basic bones
A Stroke of Bad Luck:
Things go downhill when a character decides to take the back roads as a means to bypass a major accident and get home faster. Unfortunately, soon left with a flat tire and no service out in the back roads/farm land, they are left needing to find the nearest place for help.
Potential to be a horror RP
What started out as an innocent group of friends on a camping trip quickly goes awry when a stranger begins threatening them. Is it truly a stranger, or someone closer to them than they'd think?
Beauty & The "Beast"
After some unsavory dealings with dangerous people, in order to spare a loved one she agrees to go in place of them until their debt is repaid, sparing them any potential harm and hopefully motivating them to square up as soon as possible. Unaware of just what she was getting herself into she soon finds herself a "captive" to someone that comes across as abrasive initially.
* Beast can be in the sense of personality or behavior, not necessarily limited to physical appearance
After a particularly explosive event, she decides the best course of action is to get out. In the process of leaving she finds herself in a harsher part of town and has a run in with a few malicious people. Hasty in her escape, she ducks into the nearest place available; a biker bar. She plops herself into the closest booth and hopes that she wasn't pursued, finding herself face to face with a stranger whose personal space she'd just invaded. Is this person a safe choice, or someone she ought to worry about more than those pursuing her?
Being in the wrong place at the wrong time; that was the start to the whole unravelling of events that brought them to this point. They witnessed something they really shouldn't have, and reasoning turned out to not be an option. Going on the run seems like a good idea when one has no other options available, but quickly it deteriorated when someone had been hired to pursue them and bring them in; thankfully it stipulated that they must be alive. Whether that turned out to be a good thing later on, they didn't want to know. Ditching the last place they were hiding out, they went on the run again, but exhaustion soon sets in and proves to bring with it more problems; namely the person hunting them catching up with them.
Red Riding Hood
Take a shortcut through the woods, that's a bright idea. Unfortunately Red didn't seem to anticipate the sun setting and the forest becoming darker fast, even with just a little bit of light lost it was hard to keep your path straight. Soon she was wandering the trails in the dark of night, luckily having a little flashlight keychain on her, though it did little to illuminate her path. Oblivious, something was trailing behind her, and the more she focused on where she was going, the less she was aware of who or what was pursuing her.
*Can be anyone, not necessarily a wolf in the full sense.
In Over Your Head
What was she thinking? She should've known better than to get involved with the club, but yet here she was, hiding things for them and holding things when the heat was on. Hell, some were even crashing at her place periodically. She never thought it would lead to more, at least until she got up in the middle of the night, wandering to her kitchen in the dark. With a flick noise the overhead lights illuminated the room, and through her sleep clouded eyes she found herself at gun point, a figure sitting nonchalantly in a chair at the table. No doubt there for whatever was being stored at her house. From what she gathered, this person was likely from the rival biker gang that warred within their community for domination over the other one; a constant struggle it seemed.
Harley had finally gotten enough of the Joker's bullshit; he'd gone one step too far and she wanted out. She broke things off and after a rather explosive reaction she took to forming a little gang of sorts, dealing with unsavory people and 'helping' for a small fee. After a particularly successful night she heads home for the night, swinging her slightly bloodied bat as she walks. Not cautious enough, Harley isn't aware of the approaching footsteps..
Fables/Wolf Among Us
Red approached the witches a couple decades back after coming to the Mundy world and Fabletown. No longer wanting to have the appearance of a child while having centuries of living she asked for the witches of the 13th floor to age her with their magic; so she'll appear to be around early twenties.
She runs a little bakery in Fabletown, and after a colored past after being aged she runs into some trouble. Early one morning going to open up her bakery she comes across some figures outside of her shop, she ducks into a nearby alley way and observes them. They throw something large and awkwardly shaped through the front window of her shop and bolt; upon closer inspection she finds out its a corpse of someone that has been murdered. She'd call the Fable town office and report it/ask for help. What happens next depends on who it is she runs into.
All Fun and Games
*Inspired by a movie called 31
Waking up disoriented, she finds herself in an unfamiliar surrounding, an abandoned building of sorts. Suddenly a laugh is heard over a small speaker up on the wall. Welcome players. You've been chosen to participate in a fun little game, what fun! You have ten minutes to ready yourself and prepare for the wonderful people you're about to encounter. This game is kill or be killed, and the last person standing will be declared our winner and receive a lovely prize! Ooh!" A game? She looks around to find only a bat within the scattered furniture and other dusty objects. She scrambles for it, taking the hollow metal in her hands and nearly jumps as the speaker abruptly starts up again. "We'll start off slow, don't you worry! We'll let our first... Hunter out to meet you, and see who they find first! Get ready, it's going to be one hell of a ride!" Getting into a crouching position and moving over to the window. She peeked out; all that there was to be seen was various other buildings, some connected and others standalone, it seemed to be out in the middle of nowhere with only a vast expanse of field in either direction and a sparse amount of trees. How many other people were there? She didn't have much time to consider things when a loud crash could be heard followed by maniacal laughter...
Red the Werewolf Hunter
After a particularly tragic and terrifying encounter with a werewolf in her childhood, Red became hell bent on making a difference, training and equipping herself to hunt and eradicate werewolves in various communities. She's had a few close encounters over the years, encountered less than savory hunters that didn't appreciate her presence and fought her share of werewolves in human form. However she couldn't anticipate what she was about to face next...
A Pleasant Dream
Got the idea from a RP partner
In an isolated place (navy ship, island, etc.) populated solely by men with women being unheard of residing there, a particularly mischievous, trouble making woman appears to one of the residents. Deciding to play around with him and prey on the vulnerability of his mental state, every time he tries to prove her existence/ that she's really there, she disappears and never seems to be there when he tries to prove his claims. Only appearing to him, he begins to wonder if he's losing his mind, wondering if he might be hallucinating due to the isolation. Or, perhaps she's not human at all, something manipulative and intent on causing trouble. Part of his imagination? A vivid hallucination? Or something else entirely?
A Test of Faith
*Thinking Ash vs Evil Dead/ Evil Dead vibe
New to the faith, and new to the church; what could possibly go wrong? As a test of faith she was sent along with someone more experienced in the church, to provide services and resources to a rural community. Rustic and charming, the town seemed to be plagued with discussion, hushed whispers as the pair took up residence in a long since vacant cabin a short ways from town. Exploring within the house, she comes across a peculiar looking bound book; it's pages had seen the passing of time, yet the leather it was bound in seemed to be unaffected albeit stitched here and there. Unable to decipher the language within the book, she brought it to her companion to see if they might be able to explain what it was to her. Curiosity got the better of her companion, and they read aloud despite very little understanding of the passage. Suddenly, a fierce and harsh whistle of wind hit the house, smashing out the windows and filling the room with an electrifying sensation; sending her companion flying into a nearby wall, falling to the ground seemingly unconscious. Making no correlation to what had been read and what had just happened, she went to her companion's side to assess what had happened.
*Open to suggestions, ideas, and things can certainly be mixed around.
She never knew her biological parents, and was blissfully ignorant in her life; at least until she was contacted about the will left behind by her biological grandmother, leaving her home and all that resided within it to her only granddaughter. Despite the discouraging from her parents, she asks a friend to accompany her as they travel a few states away to go and check it out. Little did they know just what kind of dark secrets lurk within the small community, let alone within the home left to her.
Brownie points if you know what movie inspired this, happy to brainstorm and toss around ideas with this one!
What started out as a typical Halloween turned into something out of a nightmare when the veil shielding a small town from the truth falls. A veil in place to mask monsters from humans, and humans from monsters. Chaos ensues as monsters no longer see other monsters when they look upon humans, and vice versa.
No real plans in mind for this one, I'm open to ideas and suggestions
