I don't know why anyone would ever come to me for relationship advice, but it happened today. Emil and Marta are nearly inseparable, but Emil found time to visit today. He said he had something urgent to talk about so, naturally, I listened. I had errands to run though, so he followed me around town while we spoke. I thought it was just my imagination, but I felt an angry presence nearby, even more sinister than Raine's when she gets angry...
Apparently, Marta's jealousy was starting to get dangerous, and he was worried about the safety of any girl he has a conversation with because she occasionally sends them death threats. I told him to just talk to her about it, but he didn't want to hurt her feelings. It turned out that he didn't have to say anything to her though because she followed us and heard our entire conversation. I knew I felt a scary presence following us!
Marta came out from behind the wall where she was hiding and walked toward us. Emil and I braced ourselves for whatever she was about to say, but we were surprised to see that Marta wasn't angry with us for talking about her. She actually looked a little sad. It seems she actually hated the fact that she was making Emil worry, so she tearfully apologized and promised to do better. I hate getting involved in stuff like this... but I'm glad everything worked out in the end.
