Life's been pretty hectic with the new job, it was originally just going to be a few days a week and short morning shifts... but there's been a staff shortage, so I've been finding myself working more days, more hours, and not all of the shifts being in the morning. I kinda like starting in the afternoon, I don't have to get up as early and I can actually eat decently before work. sweatdrop Only thing is, by the time I get off work, it's too late to do much and so I usually wind up going home and just wanting to huddle under my electric blanket while I zone out for a bit before going to bed. The pay is good, I'll probably be able to save enough for a summer trip in about two months. Not sure where I'll go... it really depends on how the staff situation is and how long I can take off. I'd like to be able to get a week off, so I could go to Hawaii and see my family... but dunno if that'll be possible. I feel like I'll be lucky to get three days off, so it may have to be somewhere that doesn't require a lot of time to take in the sights. Ah well, it's nice to have my own money again... even if I'm usually too busy/tired to do anything to spend it. lol
