Gaia Favorites Released
Okay, Gaia Favorites is now live. First release includes basic feature to organize entries and search favorites by name, hashtags, and item names found in the avatar favorites. It's kind of fun to search by color, or animal and see what's out there.
I want to have a landing page that shows the most popular styles once we have enough favorites on Gaia. That should be pretty interesting also.
Some of you might be wondering why am I releasing Gaia Favorites after my return. The reason is because 70% of the work was already done. I made most of the feature 3 years ago before I entered the Tentacl project. A lot of things happened during that time and I needed to take a break. It wouldn't be right to release a feature if I wouldn't be there to bug fix and support it. So the code sat in my folder faithfully until my return 3 weeks ago. sweatdrop
Just found out that we reached 4.2billion virtual items that were granted to Gaia users yesterday. 15 years ago I would never have thought that our little project would build an economy this big. sweatdrop Let's hope that we can bring the inflation down to where things were!
