Ｒａｃｅ: Faunus (bear) Ｇｅｎｄｅｒ: Male Ａｇｅ: 20 Ｈｅｉｇｈｔ : 6ft Ｗｅｉｇｈｔ : 208lb Ｓｅｘｕａｌｉｔｙ: Bi Ｈｏｍｅ: Vale ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ＣｏｍｂａｔＤｅｔａｉｌｓＷｅａｐｏｎ: The Pen- A multi-mode shield. Made of a solid silver metal, measuring in at 5 feet in diameter (un-extended), the shield is built to withstand any amount of force without retaining large dents. Built into the shield are long spines which extend at the push of a button. Being the more versatile of his two items, his shield can also extend to cover a larger area, but at a large size it’s easier to bend and penetrate than when compacted. Around the outside is a small ring of dust channels which allow him to potentially force an opponent away with a controlled explosion. All of this makes the weapon very heavy, so to anyone unaccustomed to it would likely find it too large to carry. The Sword- A fairly basic sword. It has a long hilt and a sharpened tip that makes it particularly effective for stabbing, like a lance. The blade however is much longer than a lance, thus its really more of a sword and can be easily used for horizontal and vertical slicing maneuvers along with forward thrusts. Ｓｅｍｂｌａｎｃｅ: Ground Basher- Though the name may suggest control of the earth, it’s actually just Alpin’s absurd strength that justifies the name. Built like a bear, Alpy's semblance allows him to stand his ground, indefinitely. There is nearly no force which can move him when his feet are set, the ground beneath his feet will crack before he’ll budge, hence the name. This is because his semblance roots him to the earth, extending deep into the ground with invisible tendrils that hold him down and keep him grounded. These tendrils of his semblance are also the reason he can carry his very heavy weapon, as they help properly distribute the weight of carrying it through his entire body. Ｓｔｙｌｅ: Defensive. Because of the weight of his shield and the nature of his semblance, Alpin isn’t a fast mover, and has a very difficult time going on the offensive, thus he avoids it at all costs. When fighting with his team he acts as their tank, drawing the brunt of the fire without moving while granting them the opportunity to attack with speed. If absolutely necessary, Alpin will unclip The Sword from the back of his shield, digging The Pen into the ground so that it can’t be moved, then abandon it to attack with precise swings. His foot work in a sword fight is terrible however, so he will avoid it whenever possible. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ＡｄｄｉｔｉｏｎａｌＤｅｔａｉｌｓＧｏａｌｓ: To pass his classes with something better than a C-. To stop saying really stupid things around people. Ｔｈｅｍｅ: Blinded By Light –Final Fantasy 13 soundtrack ＶｏｉｃｅＡｃｔｏｒ: Young Jensen Ackles ＩｎｔｅｒｅｓｔｉｎｇＦａｃｔｓ: Alpin is only comfortable when his feet are firmly on the ground. He doesn’t like to fly, climb, or even be high up in buildings. It’s so bad he tries to avoid jumping. The Bear Faunus grew up on a farm, fairly secluded from the rest of society. His parents only ventured into town with their two sons on holidays, and on the rare occasion when they needed to sell their goods. Because of that childhood, Alpin isn’t well accustomed to the ways of normal people, and is easily overwhelmed by big cities or fast talkers. His older brother moved to the city when Alpin was in his teens, and after a year there convinced their parents it would do the younger boy some good to get off the farm for a bit. The younger didn’t take to the city nearly as well as his big brother, and struggled both in school and in everyday society there, but he stuck it out through high school because his parents agreed it would do him some good. When he finally returned home to the farm, his father had passed away, worked himself too hard, and his mother had allowed the size of the farm to shrink considerably as it was all she could handle. Though he was set on attending a hunter’s Academy at that point in his life, Alpin still took the time to settle in at his mother’s home and help her return the farm to its former glory. For a year he studied by night and plowed by day, before handing the farm back over to his mother and her newly hired help so that he could attend Alydium University. Having been homeschooled during the early part of his life, he never really formed a basic knowledge of mathematics or any common knowledge. He struggles heavily in school because of this, but his determination leads him to study constantly. In truth it’s probably a waste of effort, as he hardly understands what the books are talking about, but bless his heart he tries very hard.
