The past several weeks at school went batshit crazy ever since she took her own life. On top of that, my other classmates were all killed by an unseen force, even though it looked like they just did it themselves. And it was on live cam when Blaire invited me to a group chat on Skype. I ask myself why they did those things to Laura, especially Blaire. After seeing an extended video of what happened to Laura, I just stared in disbelief. I know there are some things I said to her in which I didn't really mean when we were kids, but at least I try to own up to it. And plus, I was planning to ask Laura out to prom after we went past our differences. Guess she was too passed out to realize I wanted to man up and do this so everyone can see how much I really liked her.
That night after I signed off, I was expecting something to happen to me since I told Laura that she can kill me if it makes her feel better, despite the fact that I've never participated in bullying her. Shockingly, I found her spirit standing next to me, which freaked me out. Even though she had a disfigured face that terrified me, I sat there and prepared for the worst. But instead of killing me, she actually calmed me down, saying that if she were still alive today, she would have said yes to me after being asked out to prom. She disappeared right before my eyes after that. From then on, she's been making unexpected visits every night before I sleep.
I miss her back when she is alive, but I'm starting to get used to her visiting me every night just to see how things are going with me. Speaking of that, I heard there was a grand opening of a slave market this weekend. I know she would want me to move on, but even if she realized that I have a new companion, she has to know that at least I will always remember her and that at least there is one good person in her life that hasn't stabbed her in the back at all. Besides, at least I tried to be a real friend and ask her out to prom.
I wish I wasn't hanging out with the wrong group of people.
