I hate these things, we have three in our store, one in the back, one for drive through, and one for lobby. Guess which ones like to break down? Well just a few days ago, we ended up having to replace the ice machine we had in the back. It was so messed up there was no fixing it. The one for drive through, however, needs to DIE! I hate this thing, it's meant to drop ice for the pop so people can drive away happy. It works backwards however, lets saw someone orders a pop with light ice, the machine cranks out the ice and the cup is over flowing with ice. Want extra ice, you get maybe a inch of ice that doesn't cover the bottom of your cup.
It's annoying as all hell. The worst part is when it stops working and you have to keep ice near by to fill up the cups yourself. The down side is when it gets busy, you can't wonder off to get more, then people sit there going, where my ice? I'm sorry, the ice machine isn't working and I can't go get more. Well I'm not moving then. emotion_donotwant
Really...? hate to tell you this, but you get more bang for your buck, by not getting ice, then that means you get more pop. With the machine, you get maybe 30% soda, and the rest is just ice. Wana rethink what you said good sir?
