CRAZY!
Teehee
Well...for the longest time I wondered whether or not the first account I made here would ever work again. So, today I decided to take a shot at it and...what do you know, I officially have a mule now^_^ yay! Anyways, I was looking through my journal entries and I realized that I had started to write a story...so...here it is in all its cheezy magnificence:

" Damnit!" I was pissed. I had already been forced to fight three undead and now a f**king vampyre was in front of me. This was just so very pleasant. I touched the ankh around my neck for security reasons and lunged at the creature-

I sat up in bed, my alarm having woken me up. I had been having the strangest dreams as of late. I looked at the ankh on my nightstand. I had discovered it during and excavation in Egypt. My father is an Egyptologist and he is always going out into the field to see what he can discover beneath the sands. He took me along, just once, but I managed to find something. He said that ankhs were sources of protection for the dead. I hadn't cared then...I do now.
I reached over and picked up the item." Hm...could you really be influencing my dreams?" I laughed and shook my head. That was a silly thought. I looked at my clock and realized if I didn't get my a** moving I was going to be late for work.
" Damn, and I have that presentation today." I rushed to get ready and skipped my shower so that I would have a little extra time to stop by a coffee shop and get some caffeine. I made it on time and upon entry of the conference room found no one present.
" What in the world..."
Then I heard a gun shot and I turned just in time to see some masked men running out of the secretaries office. I just froze and in doing so dropped my folder. The smaller of the two men looked at me, grinned and shot. I felt a horrible pressure in my chest , then the world turned dark...
When I came to I was in a hospital bed with a sheet over my body. I furrowed my brow and pulled the sheet from over my head. No one was in the room...there weren't even monitors but there were other beds like mine...all with sheets covering their bodies. I stood and was in shock when I realized I was naked.
" What is going on? I'm not dead so why am I in here?"
The door opened and a nurse came through with another bed, she saw me standing, gasped then ran out of the room.
" Wait...what was that all aout?" I took the sheet that had been covering me and wrapped it around myself. Once it was secure I was about to leave when the nurse came back in with a Doctor. " Finally, could someone tell me what is going on?"
The Doctor's mouth fell open and he began to studder. " Y-y-you were dead...I mean, we thought that you were dead."
" I am standing right in front of you! I am not dead, how could you even think that!"
The nurse interjected." You had no pulse. I checked you myself."
" Okay...how long have I been out?"
" You've been dead for four hours now."
My hand went to my chest and touched cool metal. It was the ankh. I remembered that I had decided to wear it as a good luck charm for my presentation. " Why didn't you remove this?"
" We couldn't." It was the Doctor now. " It wouldn't come off."
I looked at him. " So...what does this mean? If I was dead...why am I back?"...
Three weeks later

They still had no answers, they never had any to begin with...not really. Some believed that because of the trauma of the accident my body was forced to prematurely shut down, as if I hadn't figured that out. They said it hadn't completely shut off though and once it knew it was safe I re-animated myself. Others believed that it was the Doctor's fault to begin with but they were quickly refuted. Me, I had no answers so I went to the only other person that I thought could have them...my Father.
It was only a thirty minute drive to his home in suburbia but it was a refreshing drive because I knew that my father could shed light on some information. Neither of my paren't knew about the situation yet and I doubted that they would check their answering machine right away. They had just come back from a month's stay in the bahamas. I was actually relieved that neither knew, it would be easier for me to speak with my FAther without my Mother around to reject his answers.
When I pulled up into the drive way their pomeranian,Daisy, and their cat, Luto, were there to greet me. I stepped out and patted both of the animals on the head. No sooner did I come to the door than my Mother was stepping out of it.
" Oh! Goodness you gave me a start darling. How are you? I have missed you so much Kyllan." She gave me a big hug and I welcomed it.
" I have been well enough. How was your trip?"
" Oh it was beautiful. The mosqiutoes were hell for the first few days but sooner than later we grew used to them."
" That is great. Is dad in?"
My mother huffed. "Yes, he is on that computer you gave him again. Seriously, it seems to be his new life."
I laughed and patted my Mom's shoulder." Sounds that someone's jealous." I stepped through the door way after a snort from my mother and went to my father's study. Sue neough he was there, typing his little heart out on the computer. " Y'know, I've heard that if you stare at the screen for too long you'll go blind. And that would be sad because you wouldn't be able to see my pretty face anymore."
My dad turned around and laughed." Sure would be. How have you been hunny?"
I smiled. " Well. You? Heard the bugs were bting pretty hard."
" Yes, I had quite a battle with them, but all in all everything went smooth. Kyllan?"
" Yeah dad?"
" Close the door will you?"
I closed the door and took a seat next to him."What is it?"
" I was checking the answering machine this morning while your mother was away on errands and there were so many messages from the hospital. They made it sound as if something had happened to you Kyllan. Hunny, is something wrong?"
" I figured you'd have found out by now. You always have been the sly one. Yes, something did happen. I died."
" What? You died! BUt you're right here hunny? How is that possible?"
I pulled the ankh out from beneath my shirt. "I was hoping that you could answer that for me. I haven't been able to remove it since the accident."
My father was quiet for a bit then he sighed. " You remember the tales I told you of Egypt and the significance of the ankh?"
" Yes."
" Then if I am right, what happened is when you died, the power that the ankh possesses brought you back to life. Kyllan...you are a Necromancer."...
