Billion Dollar Campaign - The majority of us who have read Malcolm Gladwell's book, "Outliers" filed away this little factoid-- it requires ten thousand hours of deliberate action to get successful. Specifically, he wrote "an extraordinarily consistent answer within an incredible number of fields... you must have practiced, to get apprenticed, for ten thousand hours prior to getting good."
I reached the ten,000 number many years ago and also have a fairly well cultivated capacity to assess talent in a number of fields.
