I know that online dating works for some people but I personally don't like it. I don't get to meet many guys so I've tried it on and off and I've met up with guys but it's never really gone anywhere. The funny thing is that my mum's been doing online dating for years but hasn't met anyone either and nothing has come out of any of her dates.

I just don't like meeting people online; I think it just seems so forced and unnatural especially when you go looking for it. From my experience the type of guys that use online dating are creeps, desperate for a relationship or guys who want a hook up.

How do I convince my mum that online dating isn't for me?
