Grapes come from unirrigated vineyards in the Ebenezer district of the Barossa Valley. Small quantities are produced of Amon-Ra, an unfiltered Shiraz created from a hundred yr old vines and aged in French and American oak. Very concentrated and incredibly extreme, it has a wonderful fruit expression with plum, carob, blackberry and preserved black fruits but above all is extremely total and incredibly classy – ideal with at least five-ten many years age. Additional reasonably priced are Bishop Shiraz and Wallace Shiraz/Grenache. These are supple and characterful with plenty of fruit, the latter just about like a Côtes du Rhône. Anaperenna, created because 04 and at first labelled Godolphin, is a Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon blend (70/30) that is very ripe, concentrated and highly effective, needing at least 6 many years age.
