Dsoedean @ The Cafe Acoustic
The time had come for a World Warfare II movie that was going to be more realistic and extra faithful to what the veterans noticed. That was a movie that made it look like every Higgins boat had made it to shore safely—as if every GI made it midway across the seashore before getting killed. But I believe that the emotional peak of the film occurs at the midway level, through the scene by which Captain Miller chooses to release a German POW (Joerg Stadler) despite the fact that his men, bloodthirsty after the demise of their medic, Wade (Giovanni Ribisi), search revenge and need to have the POW executed. Miller makes use of the instance of his wife tending to a rose bush garden at residence to assist further his point.
Then Ryan asks Miller if he wouldn't mind sharing the memories of his wife and her rose bushes. That is the issue with the film in a nutshell: Spielberg wants his cliches and conventionality along with the cache of purportedly telling us How It Really Was. It was a film that made it look Hip Hop (Musical Genre) like each Higgins boat had made it to shore safely—as if every GI made it midway across the beach before getting killed. I believed it was a horrible scene that stops the movie cold (followed by another one: the Ryan farm draped in golden sunshine).http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkYy7vULZBM
Dsoedean, like Pompous Pilot, is a 3-piece band, simply drums, bass and guitar; the way in which it needs to be. The band is Zale Bledsoe singing and guitar, Marcus Words on bass, and Bobby Floyd on drums. They are an ideal pairing with Pompous Pilot however are a really different act to see. Pompous lets their music blast through their subdued lyrics while Dsoedean places their heartfelt lyrics entrance an heart behind huge hooks. Pompous Pilot would also break a guitar string on their last song however would energy through it to complete their set.
