everybody is looking for the answer
to a cure for an aching heart but not for cancer
everybody's fixated on what's coming up next
nobody reads a book when they can read a text
everybody's got something they want to say
the s**t comes pouring out day after day
everybody's watching the same thing on the screen
corrupting ourselves to appear like we're clean
everybody's laughing at the same stupid joke
and wasting our resources until they come up broke
and there just might be a silver lining in it all
i'd give a s**t if i could but i've given up

I don't think i'm a good writer. I don't even think I'm good at anything, and if you want to waste your time reading these so called 'poems' go right ahead. I'm just sorry they're not as great as I would like them to be.
