Dealing With Death Anxiety

The fear of death is one of the oldest fears of the people, stemming largely from the truth that nobody is entirely sure what's ?on the other side.? On some instances, the fear of http://www.womenshealth.gov/mental-health/illnesses/depression.html death becomes a whole lot worse once the person is suffering from a terminal illness and is inevitably aware that his time is nearly up. This feeling, sometimes known as ?death anxiety? is often accompanied by bouts of depression and experience a number of problems connected to their interpersonal relationships. This ?death anxiety? can often be a problem for individuals around the dying, though some psychological side effects are also observed.

For the most part, this problem is largely ignored in favor of either prolonging the patient's life, or making someone's overall mood during periods of ?death anxiety,? but they often aren't sufficient to help keep someone from slinking into depression. These can be helpful and so are usually found readily in the offices of doctors and specialists who regularly cope with this type of problem, however.
