Stories by an imaginary girl
What does a girl that doesn't exist write about? Wouldn't your a** like to know? Probably yo mama
Freddy Goes to Purgatory ch10
The Saints and Faz-bots were having a meal at the Pirate themed restaurant in the Marina district, as they waited for The Boss to show up. She had told them all that today was the day that she and Foxy would set sail, and that she needed volunteers to crew the ship. So, the Saints sat and waited, some just there to see her off, and some to join the crew.

Finally, The Boss arrived via helicopter. She dangerously clung to the side of a cargo-bob, with a headset, as she watched over the two cargo-bob helicopters carrying the ship via tow-cables. When the helicopters finally got the ship out over the ocean, she shouted something indecipherable to the pilots, before tossing off her headset, and swan-diving out into the ocean. The choppers, in response, slowly lowered the ship down into the water, as The Boss swam back to the docks. Pierce, Gat, and Foxy ran over to meet her.

"Boss, you know that fall could've killed you!" Pierce exclaimed with dismay.

"Shut the ******** up, Pierce. After all I've been through, I ain't gonna get killed by water." She shook her hair dry, and patted her clothes down before she continued. "So, Patchwork, you ready to set sail, and conquer?" she asked Foxy with a grin. Foxy nodded his head, and raised his hook with a look of fierce determination. "******** yeah, Patchwork! Anyways, Johnny, you bring the paint?"

"Right here, Boss," Gat said, raising the paint-can into view.

"Alright. Patchwork, I probably don't have to tell you this, but it's bad luck to sail a ship without a name, so why don't you pick the name?" She told Foxy, gesturing Johnny to hand the paint over to him.

Foxy thought on his decision for a minute, before turning around and writing the name he'd come up with. His hand-writing was a bit sloppy, as he's not left-handed, but after a few minutes, he had finished painting the name in large letters across the ship. "The Mangled Fox" he named it.

The name confused The Boss a little. "Not the name I would've picked, but whatever. It's your ship, so call it what you want," She chuckled, and they both admired The Mangled Fox. "Oh right, before I forget," she suddenly remembered the flash-drive in her pocket, "Open wide, Patchwork." Foxy looked to her, not sure what she was up to, but complied anyways, opening his mouth wide. She proceeded to reach down into his throat, and plugged the USB flash-drive into a slot, hidden down in there. "'Kay, you feel that? Now download it," she instructed him, which he once again complied to. The backlights in his eyes shut off for a few minutes, while he downloaded the files. He is an older machine, after all, these things take a little longer for him. His eyes flashed back to life once the download was complete. "All done?" The Boss asked. Foxy nodded gently, as her arm was still down his throat. Satisfied that the download was complete, she pulled the flash-drive out and tossed it to Pierce. "I hired a voice actor to say some ship-commands, so you'll have an easier time once we set sail. Give 'em a shout, see if they work."

"All hands on deck!" Foxy shouted in a piratey accent.

"Sounds good so far. Let's hear a few more."

"Raise the anchor, and set sail! Fire port-side cannons! Activate torpedo-targetting systems! Swab the deck, ye lazy bastards! Yippee-Ki-Yay, ********!" He shouted one after the other.

"Sounds like someone mixed in some movie quotes in there," Pierce noted.

"Yeah, that was me," The Boss responded without shame.

"Why am I not surprised?"

"That's cute that you know me so well," The Boss teased Pierce. "Anyway, since me and Gat are gonna be gone for a few weeks, I'm gonna need to establish a new chain of command for the time being," She told him. "Yo, Shaundi!" she called out to Shaundi, who was having a meal with some of her exes at the nearby Pirate-themed restaurant. She walked over cool and nonchalant, as she always does.

"What's up, Boss?" Shaundi asked.

"Shaundi, I need you to gather up as much information on that old restaurant as you can. I'm expecting an address by the time I get back."

"Sure thing, Boss," Shaundi responded.

"And Pierce, I'm putting you in charge of Saints operations."

"You mean I get to be the Boss, now?" Pierce grinned a mile wide.

"Don't get cocky. It's only because Gat's coming with me," she told him flat-out, crushing his pride.

Moments later, an Ultor Limousine pulled into the nearby parking-lot. Eric Gryphon exited the vehicle with an entourage of Masako team body-guards. Gryphon beckoned The Boss to come over.

"The ******** this guy want now?" Pierce complained.

"I might as well go over and see. You guys stay with the ship, he probably wants to talk business," The Boss told her companions before walking off to meet Gryphon. "Hey, Gryphon. You come to see us off?"

Gryphon smirked smugly. "Something like that." He reached into his jacket, and pulled out a plastic bag with an SD card in it out from one of his pockets. "Actually, after learning of your little project here, I felt now would be the opportune time to deliver some info on a... mutual acquaintance," he said with a tinge of menace to his voice.

"Mutual acquaintance?" she asked as she pondered on it. Then, in an instant, she figured it out. Her eyes widened, and her expression went vacant. "You know where he is?" she said intensely.

"The coordinates are on this card," he handed her the bag. "I hope you understand the sensitivity of the information on that card, and why I had to deliver it personally. We can't have that traced back to me. Once the deed is done, I expect you to destroy the card."

She quickly pulled out the SD card, and plugged it into her phone. Sure enough, the card had map coordinates on it, though they weren't precise. Rather, it had a large circular patch of the Pacific ocean highlighted. "That's a big ********' area, Gryphon. How the ******** am I supposed to find him in there?!"

"Relax, Saint. Those coordinates were as precise as I could get, but I have more information. There's an old oil rig located out in that area. It hasn't been pumping much oil lately though. My sources say that Ultor sent our acquaintance there to outsource the Masako for mercenary work. Trade ships that run through that area would probably know about it. Should be easy enough to extract information from them, especially for a pirate."

"Now you're speaking my language, Gryphon," she said with a twisted smile. She put her phone away in her pocket, and turned around to walk back to the ship.

"Have fun, Saint. Oh, and tell your friend Pierce I have something to discuss that he might be interested in."

She walked past the crowd gathered around the ship, and to Pierce, pointing him over to Gryphon without a word. Then she continued to walk forward to the ship. As she walked past Gat and Foxy, she told them, "Get the crew on board. We're setting sail, now," in a manner almost monotone.

When Gat saw her vacant expression and fierce eyes, he knew what Gryphon had told her. He stopped Foxy before he could climb aboard. "Yo, hold up," he said, as he grabbed Foxy's arm. The mechanical fox turned to look at him in his robotic manner. "The Boss looks like she's got something serious on her mind. I know she said you're the captain and all, but you'll do well if you just do what she says and stay out of her way," Gat said with a serious tone.

Foxy narrowed his eye quizzically, not entirely understanding what Gat was suggesting. "Listen, I know you ain't been with the Saints for too long, so you don't know what The Boss is capable of, but I do. I've only seen that look in her eyes two times before, and that's only because I was in the hospital for the third time. When The Boss gets that way, bad s**t happens." Foxy rolled his eyes. "You think I'm ********' kidding?! Listen, robot, I know you think you're hardcore, stuffing security guards in suits, but compared to The Boss? She makes you and your friends look like children's' entertainers... well, children's' entertainers that don't kill people." Foxy raised an eyebrow. "Listen, you ever hear of a restaurant called Kanto?" Foxy shook his head. "A few months back, it was a popular hang out for a gang called 'The Ronin.' Now, The Ronin had ******** with us by... they did somethin' unforgivable, I'll leave it at that. So, The Boss gets wind that one of their leutenants is hangin' around over there. So, The Boss goes in there, all by herself, with nothin' but a cheap knock-off katana. There were 45 people in that restaurant before The Boss showed. Half an hour later, the Boss walks out, covered in blood, and that cheap sword's busted in half. There were no survivors. The Police couldn't even tell who was Ronin and who wasn't. The restaurant had to close down, 'cause they couldn't wash the smell of blood from the walls. Boss doesn't like to talk about the details, but we knew enough. We knew that when she's out for revenge, she's unstoppable. You might think you're out for some fun times on the high-seas, but when I see that look in her eye, I know she's out for blood."

"Hey, are you two done chattering, or should we set sail without you?" The Boss called out to them as she leaned over the side of the ship, the rage had seemingly faded from her eyes.

"Yeah, we'll be right up, Boss!" Gat yelled up to her. "C'mon, Patchwork, you got a ship to command," Gat nudged Foxy, as he proceeded to climb aboard.

The Mangled Fox was a mid-sized, modern Navy battleship, customized with various silly adornments and stolen weaponry. The ship had an indoor control room, with an easy view of the entire front side of the ship. The broad-side cannons were all located bellow deck, and operated from the control room, so that the crew could focus on more important things. At both the front and back were two massive manual-targetted mortar-cannons, with enough destructive capabilities to decimate a small town in a matter of minutes, yet with a precision targeting system on board for more tactical use. The ship was also armed with underwater-torpedos, and mounted machine-gun turrets all around. Indeed, with a ship of this caliber, The Saints could easily start a war with a developing country, and win. Of course, that is not their ultimate goal in mind.

Foxy ran his hand along the barrel of one of the mortar cannons, admiring it. The Boss called out to him, "Yo, Patches!" Foxy turned to her. "C'mon, we gotta get to the control room to set sail." Foxy nodded, and proceeded to follow her up the stairs that lead directly to the control room. Inside the control room were various switches and buttons all about. In the center of the room was the rudder wheel. To the right of it was a lever that controlled the engine speed, and to the left was a sonar radar, to detect nearby ships, as well as any submarines, or big fish. Bellow the radar was a two-way radio, that allowed the captain to command the ship from within the control room. Foxy took the radio in hand, and looked back at the Boss, expectantly. She grinned, "Don't keep us waiting, Patchwork."

"Avast, ye scurvy dogs! Raise anchor, and set the sails! We're setting off to sea!" He shouted over the loud speakers. They raised the Jolly Roger, a fox's skull over crossed shotguns, and just like that, The Mangled Fox departed on its quest for vengeance, and glory.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Four days later.

The Mangled Fox sailed toward its destination in the evening sun. The Oil Rig was just visible over the horizon.

"Look, see! There it is! I told you I wasn't lying!" said a nervous man, tied to a chair in the control room. He was the captain of a trade-ship that had been headed toward Stilwater, before The Mangled Fox had come upon them, and the Boss had personally tied him up, and kidnapped him.

"Good work," the Boss said with a smug attitude as she glared toward their destination.

"S-so, you'll let me go now, right?" he pleaded with her. "Calm down. If I were gonna kill you, we'd already be cleaning your brains off the wall. We'll let you go when we get back to Stilwater," She told her hostage. "Y-you promise?" he asked. The Boss, irritated by him, now, gestured to Gat to shut him up. "That's enough talking, now," Gat said, as he pulled out some duct tape, and covered the man's mouth up. The Boss turned back to Foxy, the blood-lust back in her eyes again. "We have our destination. Full speed ahead, Captain." Heeding her words, Foxy set the ship to top speed toward the Rig.

On the Rig, a Masako agent overlooked the surroundings with a pair of binoculars. When he saw The Mangled Fox in the distance, he radioed in on his Walkie Talkie. "Commander, we've got what looks like a Naval battle-ship coming in from the East, please advise."

"They're probably just doing field training. Ignore it," the Commander responded.

As the ship approached closer, the agent continued watching it, noticing more and more details. "Sir, I think it might be pirates."

"Pirates? On a Naval battle-ship? What would lead you to jump to a ridiculous conclusion like that?"

"Well, Commander, the ship is flying a Jolly Roger, rather than the American flag, and as well, the crew on board don't appear to be Navy. They're all a bunch of err... 'urban' types, wearing purple."

The Commander paused. "Say that again," the Commander ordered with a concerned tone.

"On closer inspection, sir, there also appears to be a purple Fleur painted across the bow of the ship," the agent continued to explain.

"...********! ...s**t! How the ********...?!" The Commander cursed under his breath.

"C-commander?"

The Commander didn't respond. Instead, he turned on the alarm. The noise blared so loud, that it could be heard all the way over on the ship. "All hands to battle stations! Repeat, all hands to battle stations! This is not a drill!" The Commander announced over the loud speakers.

Back on The Mangled Fox, the Boss was laughing uncontrollably upon hearing the Commander's frantic tone. "Looks like we've been spotted," she said with a chuckle. "Gat, I want you to take the reigns on this ship. Use the mortars to take out the towers, but don't hit the main building, and for ******** sake, don't blow up the supports," she commanded Johnny. "As for you, Patchwork, you're coming with me. Why don't we test out some of your new 'equipment'," she said, menacingly. Foxy proceeded to follow her outside, to the bow of the ship. The two of them jumped overboard, into the ocean, as the ship fired all of its mortars upon the structure ahead.

After they splashed into the water, the Boss proceeded to mount on top of Foxy's shoulders. "Change to Foxy-paddle mode!" She shouted. Foxy's body contorted until he was vaguely the shape of a jet-ski, his feet opened up into turbines for propulsion. She then grabbed Foxy by the ears, and twist them, sending Foxy shooting forward at top-speed, far ahead of The Mangled Fox.

The Boss slowed Foxy to a halt when they finally got underneath the Oil Rig. She dismounted him, and told him "Revert back to Pirate mode, and activate your Fox-Anchor." Foxy complied, reverting back to his original state, and then proceeded to point his right arm upward. The Boss held onto him tightly, and he fired his grappling-hook all the way up to the railing, at the floor level of the structure. Masako agents spotted the two ascending, from the supports, and opened fire. In retaliation, the Boss grabbed Foxy's blunderbuss from his back, and fired off a shot, the spread from the weapon allowed her to take out four of them with a single shot. Unfortunately, there were still many agents shooting at them as they ascended, and the shaking from the bullets nicking off of Foxy caused the Boss to accidentally drop Foxy's blunderbuss into the ocean.

They did eventually reach the top, however. The Boss climbed up, and grabbed Foxy by the arm, helping him up. "Sorry, Patchwork," she apologized, "I only brought one gun with me, so you'll have to wait until the crew gets here before you get a replacement." Foxy hand-waved it away, drawing his cutlass in fierce determination to fight. "That's the spirit," she said, drawing her revolver.

"Intruders on the main floor! All elites, to the main floor!" The Commander shouted over the loud speaker. Just seconds after he ordered it, the Masako elite squad descended upon them with lightning speed. They were dressed in black from head to toe, with light kevlar armor so as not to obstruct their movement. They didn't carry guns, rather they were armed with state of the art military short-swords, stun knives, and throwing knives located in mini-pockets located all over their clothes. They looked more like ninja than soldiers.

The Boss chuckled. "Heh, Patchwork, I think this might just be the battle you were destined for." Foxy turned to her, again, not understanding the cultural significance of his current match-up. "I trust you to handle these guys without me. I have other business I need to attend to," she said as she stared forward at the main building, dead ahead. Foxy nodded, and just like that, she ran forward. She punched one of the ninja in the face, and ran past. One of the other ninja tried to make chase, but Foxy fired his grappling hook at him, grabbing him by the shoulder, and forcefully yanked him back, allowing the Boss to enter the building safely.

The Boss walked slowly through the dimly lit corridors. The walls were made of a cheap, rusted metal, and the lighting was made up of little more than light-bulbs dangling from the ceiling from wires. As she walked through the corridors, she kicked down every door she passed. "You just couldn't leave well enough alone," The Commander said angrily over the speakers.

"I could say the same to you, Dex," she responded coldly.

"What would you know about my reasons for doing what I did? You're just a stupid thug. You don't understand anything, otherwise you wouldn't have teamed up with a scumbag like Gryphon."

"******** your reasons!" She shouted back, furiously. "When you join the Saints, you join for life! When you came after me and Julius, you signed your own death wish!" She cocked back the hammer of her revolver threateningly. "After all, there's nothing worse than a traitor."

"Funny, coming from the woman who actually killed Julius," Dex retorted, as the Boss made her way ever closer toward his office. "He had it coming," she said in monotone, as she approached a familiar looking reinforced steel magnetic door. She laughed, "Hahahahah... Your corporate sponsored Mercenary corps has the same ******** security as a shitty pizza joint?"

"I don't know what you're talking about, but there's no way you're getting through that door, player. You might as well just give up, and go back home to Stilwater!" Dex was clearly nervous.

The Boss crouched down in front of the door. "You know, I'm actually a lot stronger than I look. People are always so surprised when I rip a fire-hydrant out of the side-walk to beat someone to death." She grabbed the bottom of the magnetic door. "You wanna see?"

The Boss slowly lifted the magnetic door up, inch by inch, a path becoming visible. When she had gotten the opening to about waist-high, she crouched underneath the door, and started pushing it up full force. She could see Dex in the room, cowering behind his desk. "N-no way... that's impossible!" He pulled a pistol out from his desk drawer, but the Boss, seeing this, ripped the steel door out from the wall, and chucked it at Dex, crushing his hand, as well as the gun he was holding. He screamed out in pain. "You- You're a ******** monster!"

She walked up to him, pinned against the wall, and stroked his cheek tenderly. "That's it, Dex. Now you remember me," she cooed. "Hmhmhm... I went a bit too easy on Julius, so why don't we take our time to reminisce?"

Meanwhile outside, Foxy had already managed to kill half the elite ninja squad, and only four remained. As he fought gracefully, they were interrupted by gunshots. The Saints, lead by Johnny Gat, had finally arrived on the scene. Foxy jumped out of the way, and the Saints all opened fire at once upon the ninja squad. Gat ran over to Foxy, to see if he was alright. "You okay, Patchwork?" he asked.

Foxy sheathed his sword, and tipped his hat respectfully. "Aye," he responded with his thick, piratey accent.

Then, over the loud speakers, Dex was screaming in agony. "Oh hey, look Dex. Gat's here. Say 'hi' to Gat," The Boss taunted him condescendingly.

"Johnny, please! Help me!" Dex cried for help.

A gunshot was heard over the loud-speakers, followed by Dex once again screaming in agony. "No, bad Dexter! That's not how we greet our friends!" she scolded him, like a pet. "Gimme a few minutes, Johnny. I need to finish things up, here."

Gat cringed, "S-sure thing, Boss."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An hour later, and it was already dark out. The Boss finally exited from the main building. She was covered in blood, and carrying Dex's severed head in one arm, and a spine in the other. She had a satisfied look on her face, like someone who'd finally unlocked their chastity belt after wearing it for weeks. Foxy's jaw dropped. He had seen a lot of mutilated corpses in his time, but never so thoroughly, or so brutally. "Hey, Patchwork, I got you a new belt," she said as she tossed the spine to Foxy. He caught it in his good hand, and just stared at it, the back-lights in his eyes flickering from sheer disbelief.

"Boss, are you feeling okay?" Gat asked her hesitantly.

"Yeah..." she took a deep breath, and exhaled. "I feel like this is something I should've taken care of ages ago. It feels good to finally be done with this chapter of my life."

"So, what now?" he asked, walking up beside her.

"Now, there's nothing getting in our way. For now, let's go back to Stilwater, and finish our business with Freddy's."

The two smiled. "********' A."
