Budum tsssss~
So I decided to finally put stuff on my journal entries just so I can practice my grammar and all.
I suppose no introduction is needed. Today's entry is about cosplay. For those who are familiar with it, good. For those who don't....to make things short, it's like a dress-up pretend thing for anime geeks, like myself.
I've always wanted to cosplay since I was little. As far as I could remember I would dress up like Videl (from BDZ) on normal days. However I never got the chance to do decent ones until I got older.
From where I'm from, the cosplay community became active late 2009. I wasn't there when the first event happened because no.1 I was away in another island for college, no. 2 I didn't have enough funds to cosplay and no. 3 I don't think I could pull it off.
Overtime, one builds up the confidence to do s**t and in my case is to cosplay.
I started last year with the debut of Howl in a small gathering that we have every other month or so which we call Harajukize. Pioneered by Von Fritz.
So I had my first legit cosplay which is Howl.
This was decent but I could have done better. Next up is Mako Mankanshoku from Kill la Kill.
Most recent and I think most justified cosplay that I have so far.
Here more pics.
I have so many cosplans too. I hope I can cosplay more this year and cross out some names on my list. Although I don't consider myself a cosplayer, maybe more like a hobbyist....
Until next entry. Good night.
