Generally, I like most types of rock/metal. heavy instrumental is amazing, but I like symphonic and slow stuff just as much. not a big fan of metal that has growled/screamed vocals. NO dessert foods AT ALL. none. no ice cream, baked goods, or chocolate.
NO seafood at all.

generally speaking, I'm a nice person. I don't treat people badly without just cause, and even then I'm extremely unlikely to do so.
my mood varies wildly from quiet and calm to energetic and talkative or dark and horribly depressed. sometimes all within a short period of time.
without intending to sound arrogant, I'm a fairly intelligent person, and I have a pretty good understanding of a lot of things.
social anxiety keeps me from starting conversations often, though I'm almost always willing to hold one. maintaining it might be difficult if I feel pressured or anxious, so I apologize in advance if I become curt while talking.
I don't usually get along well with most other males, as demonstrated by my nearly all-female friends list. not entirely sure why, but I feel a sense of hostility both from and toward other males. that, along with my orientation, is the primary reason why I react so poorly to being matched or "partnered" with other males.
I do not take unsolicited criticism well. and I'm also prone to take in-character comments (whether about me or my character) personally. despite knowing it's a character saying it (and probably not the person's actual opinion), I still feel as if it's a personal attack. however, that's on me, not on anyone else.
also, please never assume I didn't understand something that was said. I constantly (and subconsciously) read deeply into everything I read, often ascribing numerous possible intents from even the most innocent statements or actions. I may react as if something wasn't said, or appear not to understand context. this is done intentionally. chances are, I simply don't want to assume your intent, or I might have found something potentially insulting/hostile and didn't wish to acknowledge it. 95% of the time, I know exactly what you're trying to say or do, but simply choose not to react. don't equate that with naivety or ignorance.
