Rating scales
One would never consider treating ONX0914 and not measuring blood pressure. However, it can be difficult to obtain objective evidence of response to treatment in psychiatric disorders. There are thousands of rating scales, but these are usually specific for certain illnesses. Two scales can be recommended for routine use in various settings:

The Clinical Global Impression scale (Table 6) rates the severity of the illness on a seven-point scale; it is subjective and completed by the clinician. It is triplet quick and simple, and has been shown to be both reliable and valid compared with more complex scales.
