kakashi~yes ann? i hate it when she called me "sensei." she always wants something.
ann~if we get attacked again, can I fight?
kakashi~no ann. It'll most likely be a jounin. And if you fight like you spar, you'll get seriously hurt
ann~alright...
kakashi~s**t...her not fighting back is even worse
they continued on, and was soon ambushed from above when naruto nearly hit a bunny
kakashi~zabuza momochi

sakura~sensei, you're crazy!
sasuke~guys...ann's chakra increased
they looked at her and saw her calmly walking up to zabuza, and he patiently watched her with his sword at the ready
tazuna~it's like they're making this into a formal fight of honor
kakashi~there is no honor with run aways

zabuza~ready?
ann~let's see how old you've gotten
she threw a kunai at him which he blocked, then threw her when she tackled him. Then at some point one of them decided to summon the mist and there was no visibility of the two from where the other six were

sakura~i can't see anything
kakashi~be prepared. He could distract ann and attack us at any moment
ann~get down!
Kakashi ducked down as ann flew past. When he looked back, he saw zabuza explode into water, ann be impaled by a kunai, then also explode into water
ravi~what were those?
kakashi~water clones
he turned around, pushed tazune to the side, and blocked some shurikens
sakura~this mist is ridiculous! How the hell are we supposed to protect this guy if we can't even see if zabuza will attack us?!
ann~move out of the way!
Kakashis tepped to the side to turn around, and saw zabuza swing his sword towards him, then saw ann step between him and the blade

but the sword didn't complete its rotation. Just before it got to her, zabuza had let go of his ssword, causing it to fly past and graze her neck, leaving a shallow cut. Zabuza went up to her, raised his arm to hit her, but dropped to his knees holding her in a hug instead. She smiled and hugged him back as the mist died down
naruto~i'm confused now
tazuna~what's happening?
Kakashi went up to the two, with a kunai at the ready, but stopped when ann looked up
zabuza~you have too much trust ann
kakashi~if you knew I was about to attack you, why didn't you react? Wouldn't that mean you have a lot of trust too?
zabuza~i'd rather die and know ann is safe than kill her and continue to live
ann sighed and kissed his cheek. He smacked her off but stayed sitting
sasuke~that's it? You're just gonna give up?
ravi~this hurts my head...
ann~zabuza?
He nodded
kakashi~what are you two up to? Were you even fighting in the mist?!
ann~ummm...after we put up the mist, we just sat and talked. We just kept banging our weapons together to make it sound like we were fighting. Until the water clones. Zabi did try to kill you
naruto~ *snort* zabi? You let her call you that?
Zabuza threw a kunai at him, and ann had to stop kakashi from reacting
kakashi~ann!
ann~look at the idiot first
they all watched him sit back up clutching his forehead. Then they all realized the handle was what made contact
sakura~how did you know ann?
ann~zabuza had a look. Gives it to me all the time
naruto~that hurt!
zabuza~good. Now shutup
naruto~are you really just gonna let him do that?! Sensei!
kakashi~he didn't kill you, and so far ann hasn't exactly betrayed us. What do you intend to do now zabuza?
zabuza~don't know. Ann won't allow me to kill the geezer
sasuke~so you listen to ann on a whim?
zabuza~only if it'll make her listen to what I want or mean she won't get hurt. Other than that no
sakura~what do we do then?
zabuza~whatever the hell you want
he got up and started towards his sword
ravi~and what will you do?
zabuza~probably kill gato
kakashi~and that's all that's going to happen? Things are never this easy, especially when ann's involved
zabuza~yeah, with ann in the way, I cna't get to the old man. And I don't want to know what ann's been up to. I'll take her and knock some sense into her
tazuna~why would you spare me because of her
zabuza~ann's my kid
