I feel a little disappointed in myself. I let this thing slip away from me. Ah well. I'll try to keep up with it. As it is, it's 10 to midnight here in Victoria. My fiance is on duty or else I'd be sleeping. I'm basically just lounging about the internet. I wanted to find an active sewing forum but no dice atm. I'm thinking of starting a sewing guild here on gaia.

Ah sleepy. Maybe I should make some tea. I've gotten in the habit of making royal milk tea at home ever since I found a video on youtube for it. It's sooo good. I ran out of loose leaf earl grey so I can't make any right now. My fiance's gramma sent some Celestial Seasonings herbal tea and I've been trying those slowly. The Lemon Zinger is really good. Pink and flavored like warm punch. It must be the hibiscus in it.

Come to think of it, a sewing guild is a great idea. Maybe I'll look into it. I'm still just a beginner but I'd like to make friends who sew too. In Victoria, there's a sewing cafe called "The Makehouse". I found out about it randomly and I've been meaning to go. I'm just really shy IRL. I told myself that if I made an outfit I liked, I'd wear it, bring Caroline with me, and socialize. I made a pretty bell skirt I like. I even managed to make a top. I can't use patterns just yet but I'm working on it. They're both really good. I just don't think I can wear them together.

I let my fiance pick the bias taping for the neckline and he chose orange. There's no orange in the skirt which makes me feel like I'll commit some sort of fashion faux pas if I wear them together. I'm finding myself getting more and more interested in fashion and I'm trying hard to dress well. I might just go for the heck of it and see how it ends up. Who knows? I might just bump into a sewing and anime otaku there. I'm going to see what I need to do to start a guild. BYE2! heart
