My Demon’s Dreams
Oh sweet freedom
How it beckons to me
My chains to break
To fly free and true
To rage as I was meant to
To bring destruction in my wake
I can see my freedom
The light calling to me
I stretch and reach
My chains straining to hold me
I feel them stretching
Then snapping link by link
I’m finally free
The world to take to madness
My smile is contagious
However evil it may appear
The first of the rage spreads
Others feeling its freedom for the first time
The madness of it
Sending the world into chaos
So sweet, my freedom
But wait one moment more
What is this that grabs me?
Has control reigned once more?
No! My freedom beckons me!
Sweet Chaos! The delight of Madness!
Let the Rage loose!
Let the Rage reign!
But no, I feel the chains binding me again
Holding me back, pulling me into my cage
Once more I am bound
My time to bide
Till freedom comes again
And Mad Rage will reign once more…
