You know that smell? Yeah, that smell. It's the best smell in the world, isn't it? You know what it means? It means SPRING is just around the corner!! Now, there's a huge chance that I'll be wrong (even the groundhog said 6 more weeks of winter) and a freak cold snap or snowstorm may come in the next few days or week, but I just KNOW I'm right. It's because I actually feel like getting up off the couch and doing work and that particular feeling only comes with spring and fall. And since fall already happened, it means that IT MUST BE SPRING. I can even wake up and see real sunshine outside now!! Actually no, I take that back, I had to turn my clock forward so it's still dark when I push the snooze button. Well no matter. I just can't wait for it to be spring!! If I see another flake of snow falling from the sky- and don't get me wrong, I luv myself sum snow- I will KILL somebody. I would also like to thank the snow gods for all the snow we got this year and give the corporate CEO's a big f*ck you followed by the middle finger for greenhouse gassing the environment.
Spring also makes me want to think. And right now, I seem to be thinking about the future a lot. Or rather, I've been thinking about my lack of a future a lot. I recently read that people who daydream about the future tend to better off than those who don't and they tend to try to make their dreams a reality. Well I have had multiple daydreams about me being a pirate, me sprouting wings, me turning into a tree, and most of all, me sleeping under a tree in a nice warm, lush, field in the summer. I really would love to sleep for a living, but I doubt that's going to happen. I could never be a pirate because I get seasick, it's doubtful that I could turn into a plant overnight, and I don't think I will ever magically grow wings. So that leaves me with nothing. Hopefully, I'll come up with at least something when spring is over, but for now I gotta focus on keeping my damn gpa up. Which means finishing the essay I'm procrastinating on right now.
