OC/Draco
This is a Harry Potter based role play that I just couldn’t get out of my head. I tried writing it as a fan fiction but for some reason I just couldn’t get the intro right, and couldn’t figure out exactly how I wanted it to go. That’s the beauty of making this a role play. It’s not all just up to me haha. Well here’s the description:
“The Intro”
Ok so we all know the story. Lily and James died protecting their baby Harry from the dark power that is Voldemort. We know how Harry was left with the Dursley’s; but what if there was another child left there that same night? One that Dumbledore never could have expected, one that would protect Harry so adamantly, that she’d give up her own life; now THAT might make an interesting story, wouldn’t it?
“The Beginning”
A man that could only be described as suspicious watched Dumbledore and his followers closely the night that they brought Harry to his new home. Holding a precious bundle himself, he struggled not to stay out of sight and inconspicuous. The job has to go just right. After they leave he places the baby beside Harry and replaces the note Dumbledore left with an identical one, written to include two babies instead of just one. He leaves, and behind him trails white feathers, indicating he is an angel or other unknown magical creature.
“The Guardian Way”
When the child is old enough (around eight) she/he receives a letter from nowhere. It just appears under his/her pillow when she wakes up one morning. It explains their reason for existing. Heartbreaking for an eight year old to be told that they will never have a life independent of their twin. Should she/he ever attempt to separate from Harry for any other reason than to protect him some how, she/he would drop where they stood and fall over dead.
The letter tells her that if left up to the world itself, she wouldn’t exist. She was created by the fates themselves to protect her brother. She has no other purpose, and because she only has one purpose, she will die the day he dies, and will not be allowed to live a life based on her own wishes and desires.
It was so strange, at first she didn’t believe it. Then the next day she woke up to a stack of books on her desk with varying titles and the paper was lambskin. They trained her to be reserved in every way, and the strongest person she could be.
“Hogwarts”
Fast forward about 8 years, when they are in their 6th year at Hogwarts, we learn that not all is as it seemed in the books. Dumbledore isn’t as pure and ‘light’ as they lead you to believe. Harry’s guardian keeps him far away from the old coot, not trusting him to have Harry’s best interests at heart. With Harry’s gullibility, he put himself in more and more danger with each passing year, making her job all the harder.
They agree to work with each other and the Order members to bring down Voldemort, but they also agree to leave Dumbledore out of their innermost thoughts, preferring to take guidance from Severus Snape, or Dumbledore’s own Guardian, Aberforth.
Okay I don’t know how well I explained this story line, and it could be done as a {1x1} with another adv. lit role player, but if you like this idea, message me and ask as many questions as you want. I have more explanations on pretty much everything. If you can stump me, then you can help me edit it. smile
