Do you believe that everything in life happens for a reason?

I love to believe so.

That chance encounters happen for a purpose?

Yeah.

Suppose you meet someone. They are everything you look for in a friendship.

You then find out the reason why you met them. All by chance, all what "if" type moments.

Then you find out that you can't be with that person due to the same reason you met them.

You wish the reason holding it back wouldn't exist but doing so would have meant you never met.

Suppose you had a choice before all this, if you knew what would happen in the future.

Would you still want to meet the person?Yes and no. Yes, glad to know such a special person. No, to save my heart from all the painful feelings.Now suppose that this happens to you regularly. You're a fairly optimistic person.How would all this make you feel?Like a constant tease. Life shows you the diamond among the zirconia and you can't have it. It's really depressing to want to have something and not be able to attain it, heck even worse that you don't even get a chance to even try. That is truly depressing, it also shows you that impossible is a reality and that life doesn't always fulfill all desires.
