As in color, like "purple" or as in specific shades like "the dark/warm purple from wisteria"?

it can be general or specific as you've described ^^
like need more purple or whatever color combination like orange/purple/gray.

Told you to be prepared. XD In all honesty I say you would make the best work when using color schemes that you love. Don't force yourself to make things in colors that develop an eye twitch or a cringe.

-The Ciel/Rosamund pinkish red.
-Both the dusty pink and the periwinkle used in Rookie Dective (separately or together.)
-I don't care what anyone says, I like cream.

Oh boy, palettes...

I might not look like it at the moment, but if it depended on my tastes, breaking the monotony more often with anything in a light-hued color that looks cool on guys would be my top suggestion. On second place, I'd probably like to see a return of that 2K9 Spirited Set's Green.

Teal, Indigo or Lavender are also nice options to explore during this Winter, and maybe when most get in a Spring-mood around March, go warm and/or bright with something Yellow or Orange or anything Bold-hued. (That said, if you're not helping bring Green stuff for St. Patrick's...)


Of course, from an objective point of view there's also asking if some other artist wants to try an uncommon color combo: in the end, what makes it hard for unexplored palettes is the fact they will inevitably start with little or no company. I mean, Navy and Cream was an unthinkable combination for an item around two years ago, and now we are having people getting bored at how often that palette appears...

The red-violet from Haute Modena is a rare color right now, so more of that would be loved. Also some vibrant citrus colors: orange, lime green and yellow. heart

My favorite has always been red, blue and yellow/gold (Dappy Dandy, Star Tamer).

I'd also love to see more of the following:
- Brown, orange and teal (Saber Feidae, Feisty Berserker)
- Brown, red and white/cream (Herbalist Aisha, Ruby Toadstool)
- Brown, red, blue and grey (Sunset Harvest)
- Turquoise, yellow and red (Jinxi's Charm, the Rumpelstiltskin evo in Modus Operandi, Fenghuang)

Colours we don't have enough of.
These colours, besides purple are fairly scarce.
And no more of that pastel stuff, I want strong, bold and confident colours.

Well to me Black is always classic...
You can pair it easily with Bold Colors or Pastels.
Earthy mossy greens and mint backwash.
I always love Violent Violet and Insane Indigos!
Plop some Pinky Peach in the mix, just for a little flava.
Red Hot Cinnamon, Hot Hot Pink... I could talk all day about colors.

It's not a matter of what colors i want to see, it's a matter of matching colors. Like in the new rig, the sultana item (blue color) and the royaltea item doesn't match much. It'd be nice if they came in colors that matched what we already have.

The reason monochrome, creme and red sell so well is b/c we have a lot of items that match those colors. So when you're choosing colors, please pick ones that match items we already have.

I would like to see more orange mostly and green would be nice especially since those two colors have seen the least pages on tektek.

Alois Trancy green, Orange (Like jacks anger), Ravenwood blue, purple (Like the feather in Sinuous Ink), and if you really have to continue to make pink items, please use the shade of The Rose of Versailles. Making everyone into light bulbs because the colors are so bright isn't attractive.

More earthy and subdued colors, please, preferably for gold shop items. Taupe, redwood, bole, auburn, chamoisee, wine. Desaturated blues, greens, and pinks. Here's some other specific color palettes:

1.) Green/gold palette used for the pants of Anok Akori
2.) Color palette for the Thistle Blouse
3.) Color palette used for the Alchemyst Book (Signed)
4.) Color palette used for the Anti-Fashion Technically Colored Dreamcoat (Pastel)
5.) Cream palette used in the Cream Woven Abalone Button Blazer

*If there are details in items with light color palettes (bows, buttons, patterns), it would be appreciated if they were visible against the colors. Details are meant to be noticed.

Does asking for items of any color to have silver metallic accents count? I am sick of almost everything just having gold accents.

Color Combinations:
- Black and purple
- Green, blue, and purple
- Green, white, and brown
- Red, white, and gold

Color's Definition:
- This Red for dark color palette example. Think of it like what you expect to see from a standard box of crayons. They're bold in color, but they don't contain that toxic/neon feel.
- This Blue for light color example. I like light colors similar to what you expect from cotton candy. They're light, but not too light that it'll blend into the white background.
- This Purple for true hue example. I like my colors to contain equal amount of cool and warm colors (especially if they're secondary colors). My biggest issue with purple/violet is that they often have the extra tint of red/blue, and our purples often don't match each other well.

I'd like to see more purple. Not lavender or lilac purple, but royal, majestic purple. I'd also like to see more ice-blue items.

I'd love to see more green. I don't see enough green items and green is my favorite color. Either dark green or light green would be awesome. Or both!

Deeper Turquoise / Coral Especially this combination! I'd love to see items that look like this! + for guys too. It's not too paste that it destroys your eyes, but it's a nice color combination that I'm suprised we haven't seen any of.

I'm getting really tired of seeing the cream colored items EVERYWHERE. I know some people like them, but I'm starting to get sick of the whole 'kawaii cutesy colors' that I've seen in most of the items recently.

Also, would love to see RED. ACTUAL RED. Not magenta, not light pink. Real, honest-to-god RED.

I also like using items that incorporate a mix of colours by default. The Thistle Blouse, for example, is extremely versatile, and I'd love to have it in some recolours. A pale blue base with purple and green bits for the pattern, for example, could look quite nice and be used in many outfits. The Good Witch Hat, too, comes with a complex palette that is very satisfying to use in outfits. I rarely use fewer than 3 colours in an outfit.

More of the rich, deep, saturated colors. Or maybe something in shades of green, especially something that'll match the Pepperex Horns. They're an amazing item, but finding something to match them with to make a complete outfit is difficult. Shades of green, blues, and orange. We have a very, very distinct lack of orange.

Oh, and true yellow. Not that "golden yellow" type stuff, but real, true yellow.

Also... if you can... please ease up on the pinpoint feet and the "I gotta pee" leg mods. Those of us who either like our base as it is, or have male avatars that DON'T want tiny baby feet would like more varied options in legwear. There were zero pants in the last RIG and that's extremely disappointing.

More of the same. Even I hate this answer, but (for example) Celeste Fleur-de-Lys is a difficult thing to find precisely matching colors. Same with Somber Bloom. And I love the "bloody" red color Gaia's been using lately, especially with dark purple stuff. Overall, though, I really need a pair of nice, earthy, brown leg mods. Arms too. And some purple arm/leg mods please!!! And please, please, more emerald, deep, dark green!! What's with all the minty greens? My Xmas avi attempts look like fruit bowls or a leprechaun.

Blue and gold! I like seeing that combo more than blue and silver. IMO, great examples include the Elegant Blue Satin Coat (and Vest), Secret Retreat, and Viva La Mode's coat.

Blue and brown is another combo I'd like to see more often too. And I mean browns like the ones from Dyrfinna the All-Wise, Aye Aye Lassie, Little Drummer, Regalinovo, and Lady Jayne and the Mummy.

I'd also like to see more of the deeper blues...like the blue and navy blue from the Serafuku set. And something that matches the blue of my current hairstyle (Girl's Bard Blue (Dark)).

Ehehe, what can I say, blue's my favorite color. lol

But I also think the emerald green from the May Birthstone set and the red of Secret Retreat need more love too!

EDIT: Oh, and I concur with the ones who are tired of cream. I also tire of the super pale pastels and the navy blue used in items like Captain Cobalt. ._.

Could we get some more bold colors? Rich tones - like dark greens, some deep oranges.

Generally, color's that aren't so washed out or always paired with colors that are really washed out and pale. We've a lot of pastels, I'd like to see more richer, Earth-tones.

No more cream. Please. There's far too much cream lately. Cream in MCs, cream in REIs, and now a RIG in which half of the items are cream. Enough cream. Enough. We need far more in the orange range, without bleeding into the yellow. Burnt orange, dark orange, maybe even red orange. We also need more greens, it's a very neglected color on this site. Emerald green, forest green, moss green, rich, deep greens.

Just not mint.

So, to cut it short we need more purples that aren't lavender/lilac/bright/etc, more blues that aren't midnight/pastel/etc, more greens that aren't bright/acid/mint/etc, more yellows that aren't super bright/cream/gold/etc, more oranges and peaches in general, more rose shades, more fuchsias, more teals (loooots more, especially in nice, darker shades) and more items with copper and silver accents, kinda sick of gold ones.

Just something darker would be lovely. The light colors of the last few updates are really hard for me to see. Like, for me, the only thing that saved Winter's Rose was the light blue accent. The recolor was just TOO white, no contrast.

Particularly in the case of hairstyles, I'd love if the darker reds like from the last Rosamund recolor could be applied to more Salon Durem red hair. Pink is pink, not a pale red like some of those 'lighter dark red' styles try and claim.

We need more Checkmate and Storge gold on the site, especially in head accessories. Also I would so love to see more cobalt like we had in the Storge and Veracious Musketeer. Mostly, I wouldn't mind seeing you guys attempt to do something in a Slate Blue if you paired it with that Checkmate and Storge gold.
