CHAPTER ONE
Three cloaked figures hurried through the stillness of the night. they moved with a swiftness that spoke of urgency and of panic. Their destination was still a mile away when the first of them, the tallest, spoke.
"This place is so heavily guarded it's ridiculous. We need to be faster and quieter than them. If we don't, then Jason is as good as dead."
The second then spoke and said in a feminine voice, "Well then, let's stop wasting time. We're late as it is."
The male voice coming from the last of them, the shortest and most physically fit spoke of a military background. "If Jason can't be saved, then I will leave with the egg. It's nature is too delicate for the world to know of it's existence yet. And besides, Until it hatches, we've got no proof that the dragons have returned."
