the very first thing scientists messed with (involving genetic engineering) were bacteria. easier then humans. then they worked their way up, to animals. then infant babies. finally grown humans. first only altering each specimens DNA. then creating entirely new ones: they created machines to help support new life. they created a way to make a human's body, from the inside and out. they made blood to flow through their veins. and they made a heart, that humanity has often referred to to symbolize life.

after many trial and error, the first successful created human took his first steps in our world.

while he still went on with his daily life, the scientists added onto his genetics and his body. he was a guinea pig, as many more will be in the future. they altered his mind. they changed his physical strength.

and from then on genetic engineering became not only a subject of research, but an art form.
