The lost teddy bear.. (finished)
He was gone, he had abandoned her. She was but an emotional teenage girl who needed guiding. Yet, he has still left her. Without a care in the world he just left her all alone in the world with no one left. She was left alone to rot in the hell called life. She had enough pain and he knew it. What did he care if he hurt her even more? She was nothing to him ; Nothing but a stupid little brat.

Since they had met, the two had been inseperable. He was always there for her when she needed him most. All up until he left her. Since that day she continuously asked herself many questions. Was it all an act? Did he hate her? Why did he leave her? Where did he go? Would he ever return?

Nicole drove herself nearly insane with it all. Everyday, her heart ached for her beloved teddy bear. She needed him and he knew it. She needed a shoulder to cry on. She needed someone to tell her dreams and fears to. She needed someone to be there for her at all times. She was alone now, with no one to hold her, or wipe her tears, or to comfort her when she needs it.

Eventually she would forget him. Then, he'd some how slip himself into her mind. It scared her how someone so hurtful could do that so easily. She knew better than to look for him. She'd be a fool to attempt such a thing. The juvenile would only be hurt once more.

She'd stay awake most nights until he escaped her thoughts. She'd sit there, curled up in a ball crying. Hoping and praying she'd be saved. With no one left for her, she continues to fall into the dark abyss. The pain is nearly unbareable. She's being suffocated. Will she drown? Will she be saved? No one knows.

She's given up on fate and everything else. There's nothing left. She hides it all. Always trying to push it away. Instead she pushes herself away from reality. Everything becomes a huge blur to her. Has she any idea what she's doing? No. Does she truly want to be saved? Not by anyone other than him.

He was her teddy bear. He was her best friend. He was her entire world. Did she love him? Just as much as a small child loves their passifier. Did she love him anymore than that? No, he was merely a close friend.

He was always at her side. He refused to ever let her frown. He would do anything to see her smile. Not once would he let someone tease her or put her down. He didn't tolerate such crap. He protected her in every way possible.

She thought he was her guardian angel. He was a blessing. He had just appeared and pulled her out of the dark void. He healed all of the scars and took the pain away. He made her forget everything bad. He made her truly happy.

Now, all she wants is true happiness again. She doesn't care if he returns or not. She just wants to be saved. She can no longer bare the pain and hatred that consumes her.

There are times when she believed that she had seen him. Did she dare approach him to see? No, not once for she was a coward. Would he think her a stalker? Would he run, ashamed of what he had done to her? Perhaps he would laugh in her face and bring more pain to her torn heart? Maybe he would apologize and fix everything.

She hoped he would return to her. Even if it were for a small bit, it would help. She yearned to see him ; To just say goodbye or atleast to ask why. Why had he left her?Was it because she was too childish? Was it because she was so fragile? Perhaps she had upset him.

He was killing her inside. She was almost certain that he knew it. Their friendship had all been an act. He knew just what he was doing. He would gain her trust and friendship. Then, when she needed him most he would break her.

Just the thought that it was all a lie made her sick to her stomach. She refused to believe that someone so nice and protective would do something so horrible. Though, a little part of her could believe it. There were times when he was high where he would hurt her. She always told herself that it was the weed and not him.

For months she stayed curled up in her dark hole wondering what went wrong. Was it something she said? Was it something she did? Did he hate her or did he just need time? Did he hate her friends? Even if he had hated her friends he always put up with them for her sake. He was always chill with her friends no matter what.

After months of waiting and sitting in the dark, she looked out a window. What did she see outside that window? The beauty of the world. What else did she see? Or who? Him. Her teddy bear, right there in front of her with his arms out.

The girl ran outside of her dark, cold house and into his arms. He lifted her up and smiled at her as he messed up her hair.
" I'll never leave you again," He whispered to her.
"Promise?" She squeaked.

He nodded as he embraced her in another hug. She was happy again. Her teddy bear had returned just as she had hoped he would. Just like before, he pulled her out of the dark world around her and showed her the light. He put her back down on her feet and avoided her eyes. It was obvious how much she was hurt by his sudden abandoning.

Smiling, she invited him into the house to catch up. When he tried to decline she grabbed him by his wrist and dragged him inside. The two sat at the table and talked for hours.
~The End.~
