So like, I gave up on the whole cutting out the bass in the ripped towns theme. Instead, I found its much easier to play the song itself on a sampler really really slow, and try to interpret the song's notes as the song plays in the background. I've got the main part of the melody down but the last part of it is giving me trouble.
Also having trouble deciphering the frequency and pitch of the original instrument in the original towns theme... If i can't work it out I may just do an instrumental of the theme.
