Towns 2 - Housing Wooooooo it's finally launched XD This launch has been a loooooong time in the making, hit many different setbacks and has been quite a challenging project to keep moving forward. Originally this was set to go out back in December 2012 but unfortunately things like partnerships, events, personnel and resourcing changes and quality assurance/SCAS bugs caused us to need to delay quite a bit. But now it's out!!! Woooooo! First off I'd like to name out some of the key people that worked on this project... Product & Engineering Manager (The person planning out the whole project, making the decisions on what goes in, what stays out, and what things should be changed etc.) Narumi Misuhara Art Direction (The person making sure everything looks good and is consistent. Also makes sure my ideas aren't totally off the rails for Towns ...cause I have lots of those. Pepper-Tea Artists (The guys ...or gals in this case, who did all the drawing) Gem2Niki Buki Animators kirbyUFO Reapersun Lead Engineer codemonkey37179 (Flash) Support Engineers oxydizer (PHP) edy (PHP, Java) darknrgy (PHP) Uncle Kenney (PHP) User Interface Ling Writing Cashmere Cactus User Support Siskataya Zero Omega Sandokiri Testing QA team and SCAS guild As you can see this project had a lot of help and support from many people, and I apologize to anyone I may have missed. In the near 7 months (at least) this has been in development a lot of people had a hand in it. For now we will be watching feedback and making enhancements here and there. Meanwhile we will be moving forward with development on the summer event (which will take place in Towns 2) as well as the next phase of updates for Towns 2 smile I'll have a fuller update on our other projects soon, just wanted to touch upon this since it was just released biggrin ...Until next time. 	Woohoooooooo!!!!! Claps I'm so excited. I've already got my land. Thank you and the whole team for your hard work. One suggestion. When we "Place Home", afterwards, let it tell us, "Home successfully placed. Would you like to go there now?" Or something like that so that people will know it actually worked. biggrin It took me a bit to realize I got mine placed and could go there.

	One major issue with towns (and now rally / mtv) is there's still a lack of an easy way to group up with friends. The removal of the invite feature was a really bad idea. I don't like going into towns and respawning over and over until I find the room I want >_>...

	Well done, guys/gals!! Bravo!! I cannot wait til I get to start collecting bugs/flowers/trash/etc And I cannot wait for the Summer Event!

	Just need to be able to get unstuck when we come back the main area from the Docks. That is the only big complaint I have right now. mrgreen

	My compliments to all involved! Everything looks really good 3nodding Sometimes my avatar gets stuck but Codemonkey said he's aware of that and is working on it. The only other issue is not being able to roam freely square to square like we can in Towns 1. I sincerely hope that the ability to do so will be enabled in the next phase. If it's not ever in the plans, collecting bugs / trash / flowers and shaking objects for gold is severely affected and the special events such as trick-or-treating or caroling will be as well. (unless there's a whole new way to do so in the works?)

	So...Buki works hard on the pretty art of Towns 2 then is fired right after it's finished? emo That makes me sad. Anyways..I'm enjoying the new towns. It has it's laggy, sticky moments like getting frozen on the dock and not being able to load pages and stuff..but I'll enjoy it.

	The housing looks really nice! There are still a few enhancements I'd like to see, but I'm guessing you have most of them in the works anyway. So kudos to all the people who worked on it! heart I'm looking forward to the summer event!

	There are still a few things I'd like to see added (a directory, arrows so we can walk through neighborhoods, etc), but those may be in the works already and we just don't know yet. whee Overall the new art is great, and it's really cool that we can choose which town we live in rather than all being in the same generic Barton neighborhood.

	Im having trouble relocating. I paid 1k to uproot it but the ferry is not available on my map :/ I checked your help section to find directions on how to relocate and it still didnt help.

	How is it that you site managers manage to screw up every single town and rally with uneeded updates, also this entire fluff thing has a very high chance of back firing and leading to horrible lag on the town severs, nice job guys. biggrin
