I'm in the process of getting the Play functionality of the Card Game Maker working. Actually, it's more finishing it up; the basic functions all work (though there are serious limitations, and playing most games requires notes or a good memory).
The thing is, I went to my local game store to show it off, and talked briefly with someone who had considered a card game of his own.
And he proceeded to describe to me a variant on the Relationships - the Card Game that I proposed last entry. He was less concerned with interacting with the opponent in the same way I had set forth, but had also put more thought into events and character abilities.
No, he didn't have a Gaia account, but he does have a Board Game Geek account (which, amusingly enough, I don't).
Still...kinda wacky.
