Hey diary, or whatever this is,
I'm writing since I'm sleepy but I don't feel like going to sleep yet. I just joined a new role play in one of the guilds I'm in. It's cute, it's based off Chobits!
It took me a while to think of a character and a story and ideas for her and how she's going to interact with others but I'm glad I did join. I used TekTek to make the profile picture, which, while useful, isn't as nice as using some pretty artwork so I might get a commission of her later down the track.
Which reminds me, I better follow up my art order with Miss Feydrah. I PMed her the details but I guess it didn't go through or something. I sent them again just now so here's hoping.
Oh, and I get paid tomorrow, so that's great! Eee, I love art of OCs! And B/C characters from the mini-shops too. It makes me so happy and I admire the talent of those who create it. I do apologise for getting over-excited and praising people to death when they do commissions for me. You probably wanna run the other way when you get to know, hey? Lol.
I've been thinking of what to do with Ixchellia if the Curio shop ends up closing for good. It's been on hiatus a couple of years now, I think. Well, it feels like that, maybe it's only been a year and a half.
I was thinking of bringing her into one of my other role plays so I can write her story to life and do all the things I had planned for her. If the shop goes kaput, I won't leave her behind. =^_^= She's the first and only B/C I've ever had. And she's special to me, since the characters she's related to are also special to me. Heh. ^///^
Oh, enough about that. I always talk about that.
I guess I'll talk about something personal now and say that between the 9th and 13th of April, my brother and sister moved out of home. They went to live in Brisbane, which is a fair way from here. I'm missing them already but I'm not missing some of the mess and stuff. Haha, I promised to visit when the next anime convention is on and we can all go together. It'll be great since I've never been to one and we all love anime and manga. cat_blaugh
In fact, they're the ones who bought me the entire series of Chobits anime for Christmas. So I ought to thank them because without watching it I would never have joined that new rp. It's so much fun. I finally get to rp with Shade_Angel17 too. I've wanted to do something with him for a while as he always keeps posting and he's a good role player. He doesn't quit halfway without a reason and he never leaves people hanging. I love reliable role players! I've been so blessed lately to meet so many of them; Viper, Writing Time, Ninja...it makes the story a lot more entertaining when everyone gets into it and has a good time.
Edit: Oh, and I forgot to say, it was my Mum's birthday on the 13th. I bought her a maple pecan braid since I was working full time and didn't have time to make a cake. I also bought her a crackly Woodwick candle in one of her favourite scents and a sign that has a glittering green frog on it and that says 'I love my garden'. It's playful and a wee bit sarcastic, as if you have seen our garden, you would know it's a great deal of work to maintain and is currently a bit overgrown and full of snakes and weeds. On the plus side, we have lots of gorgeous mandarins on our three year old tree, which if one is brave enough to go up the retaining wall wearing long pants and gumboots and watching out for snakes, one can harvest! We already ate a few and gave some away. They are delicious. I've been thanking God for the bountiful harvest and how good they are.
Oh, and the other thing I gave to her is a hand made present. Sort of. I drew the little sprites I'd created and coloured them and then put the cut-out template into a decorate-your-own coffee cup. She really loved it. cat_blaugh I'm happy that I could finally get it finished and give it to her. The only one I missed off was the metallic sprite, since it couldn't fit.
Anyway, I should probably stop blabbing on and go to sleep.
