"Beautiful Malice" by Rebecca James
Beautiful Malice by Rebecca James
Just finished, I've decided to try it out after I saw some revievs in which the word "suspence" was mentioned. It was mentioned so many times I thought that maybe there is someting about it.
There was not. It was classic.
Very well written I'll give her that, and obeying every single rule of psychological drama which was quite impressive in some wicked kind of way, and a great read when you consider the style, but no suspence...
It's good that the novel like that was written though, for someone young who hasn't yet gone through tons of books (and so there are not many left that can surprise him crying ) it would be unforgetable, and quite possibly some kind of an eye-opener.
I would recommend it to teenaggers of all kinds, not neccesarily to teenagers parents (can give them a scare, and then they'll make life of their children quite miserable for a while).
And to finish up: trigger warning - there is a strong trigger inside the book for traumatized women/girls/boys/men, if You're sensitive do not read.
