Scared to remove his mask
He lets anger lead his way
Beat down and broken inside
He is just searching for an escape
From trying drugs and alchohol despite how smart he is, he is desperatly trying, just to fit in
But most people have let him down
So he has learned to avoid all of the criticism and noise
He put up his guard and acts like everything is okay
Even though he constantly wishes that it would all just go away
He makes you think that he couldn't care less
But if you really knew him you'd know he is just trying to cover his mess
If you knew him, like very few people do
You would not believe all that he has been through
But still he keeps on fighting, to make it to the end.
You have no idea how proud I am to call him my friend
