Some of my nerdy Role Play!
Name: Kote Erion

Appearance: User Image

Gender: Male

Personality: Kote was once a bright, ambitious youngster who always had a question waiting to be answered. The whole world around him was his playground and audience. He wanted nothing more than to perform. Yet that all changed at the loss of his parents. Now Kote stalks the streets, doing what he can to survive. He has grown cold and unmerciful. Poverty is a cruel teacher who does not show sympathy to the weak or ill suited. Though, despite it all, he somehow has managed to retain his love for music as he can sometimes be seen hiding in a shadow that is near a music hall, reminiscing about times passed...

Biography: Kote was an aspiring musician from a very young age. Music was always on his mind. Whether it be the lullaby of his mother or a simple humming of a tone, if it has a rhythm to it, Kote enjoyed it. This came as no surprise as his family came from a very prestigious line of orchestra musicians. Although he had no interest in following their footsteps exactly, he still wished to pursue music nonetheless.

This path satisfied Kote's parents even though it was not as they had originally hoped. They soon found out that his gift for the musical arts would still be shared. From the flute to the violin to the harp, Kote was well ranged in multiple instruments. At the age of twelve, Deora dubbed him a musical prodigy. The fame fueled his pride as he further strove to improve his talents. He began with composing his own works, saying he found inspiration from the wind. It was said that the wind spoke to him, as if it were an older, wiser friend whom shared the same feelings for music as he did. Kote could sometimes be seen at the rooftop of his family's residence, listening to the wind.

As Kote was reaching the apex of his rise to stardom, tragedy struck the young one's fortune. Kote was returning home from a recital when he discovered that his family had become bankrupt from unknown debt collectors. His parents were in sheer disbelief at such a notion but they could not prove their innocence. They did, however, buy time for themselves by selling their unnecessary belongings. Always eager to help, Kote used his talent to raise funds for his family. The situation looked manageable until Kote's father was accused of murder and theft. It was another incredulous claim, to be sure, but his father had no proof of where he was. Although he swore that he was out attempting to sell his belongings to pay the collectors. The officials would have none of it as they dragged him away without further questioning.

Distraught, Kote knew he had to do something, anything to help out his family. He called upon his distant family members to aid him but none answered. Not even those who used to listen to him play would come to help. Betrayed, Kote became desperate. With his father in confinement and his mother in depression, Kote had to become what the city officials accused his father of. It was not an easy decision for he knew the risks involved far outweighed any benefits, but he had to if he wished to reunited his father and mother, to get back his family.

Several years passed by before another incident shook Kote's world and he was forced to watch as it came crumbling down around him. A few months after his turning of fifteen, news reached him that his father had committed suicide within captivity. He dreaded the very idea of bringing the information to his mother. Yet he had no choice, she had a right to know.

The fate of her husband was too much for her to handle. After gently dismissing Kote to his own devices, she too took her life by means of hanging to once more be with her beloved. Kote did not discover the body until he returned home with money from a successful day. Emotions tore through the boy. He felt as if his parents abandoned him, leaving him to suffer these conditions. The rage seemed to call upon something within him. All around the residence, the wind danced wildly, slamming the shutters back and forth, tearing through the windows like a terrible roar. It was in that moment that he realized that the wind felt his pain. The wind was at his beckoning, his ally, the only thing he had left.

From that point on, Kote lived amongst the shadows in the streets, struggling to survive day after day. As another year passed, Kote had become accustomed to being a thief. It was now second nature to him. This was beneficial since now he no longer if each day was going to be his last. The shadows had become a new home for him as the city believed him to be dead. He preferred it that way. Now he can continue his life, continue his conversation with the wind without any interruptions. After all, no one goes looking for you if you're dead.
