I had found the exit sign
But I could not find the door
Locked inside my empty mind
With hope lost forevermore
Indeed when a door was found
It was one I could not take
For the exit led straight down
To a much forsaken fate
More willing I would have been
Had I had no weight to bare
Weighted down by love and sin
To leave here would not be fair
I had found the exit sign
And now I have found the door
Yet I can't stray off the line
To feel bliss within my core

Place of Poetry
Seeing as I use this account more than my original, Blair Phoenix, I figured I'd move all my poetry over to this account.
