Name & Meaning:

Daenarya // I love Game of Thrones. And this combines the characters Daenerys and Arya. [Female]
Rakiard // Again a combination of names from Game of Thrones. This one is the tribe name Dothraki, and Eddard. [Male]

Personality: Using the same personality for both genders.

writing as a male: Raki, as a foal, is quite loud. He doesn't know why, but it always seems like his voice box has something to say, even when his mind doesn't. So he is constantly found randomly humming or trying to think up songs to sing. He is semi-happy-go-lucky. Being grown in a happy loving home. Though, through his life, his singing will take him down different roads then what he had thought ever possible.

Also, due to circumstances, he has learned to throw his voice. So, when he is singing a song in a crowd that calls for someone else to sing part of it, he can point to a soq and pass that part to them. But if they don't know the song, he can just throw his voice to seem like someone else in the crowd is singing instead of him while he seemingly does a little dance for the crowd.

When he is older, Raki will get tired of just singing of the hardships some soquili suffer, and try to rescue them. His voice throwing talent can also help him in this instance. Where he could be fighting a soq, maybe even loosing, and he throws his voice to make it seem like another is coming to his aid. This can throw off the soq that he is fighting and give him the upper hand he needed to win.

Plot Ideas:
~ Raki is starting to see that some might be annoyed of how load he gets. He can't really help it though, its as if the life inside him is filling up until it just has to burst out. He is not a violent soq, so this bursts out in tunes. He isn't really the type to bust out singing at the top of his lungs. He usually starts out humming, enjoying the vibrations in his throat, then turning into ballads or serenades. Well, one night, Raki has a dream *the rp prompt actually lol. I liked it so much it fit in so well x3* of a forest sprite inviting him to play. The little spirit dancing and singing soundlessly. It then invites Raki to sing with it and Raki does. Though the spirit then precedes to steal Rakis voice. At first, Raki is terrified that he can not make a sound. But after a moment, he realizes the little spirit has turned into a miniature of himself. Though, looking a little older. He is fascinated to see such a small, slightly older version of him sing such fantastic song and such graceful dance. He is so fascinated by the scene, that he doesn't realize at first the shadow tendrils reaching in to stifle out the little him. Raki tries to scream, though he is still silent, as the little him is enveloped by the darkness and swirled into nothing. Raki is frozen, terrified to even breath. Suddenly, the little him pops into being again, this time looking stronger, more confident as it lunged at the shadows in some type of graceful fighting dance style. The shadows recede and Raki is left peering into his own eyes, though almost as if he could see for galaxy's beyond. And before Raki could even try and figure out what the last part meant, he wakes p to a bright warm sunny day.
Reason: This will show Raki that he can actually do something with his 'loudness'. That the way of the minstrel is calling him. He still doesn't understand the last part of his dream, but for now, he wishes to ask his mother all she knows of what it takes to be a minstrel. And when he is older, be able to travel and learn some songs pertaining to all the wonders of life. He will come home often, he could never stay away from his family for long.

~ When Raki is older, after a few years of being a minstrel, he will realize that it isn't all love and friendship. That there is death and heart ache as well. Raki finally comes to the conclusion that the dream he had as a foal was actually telling him of his purpose in life after mastering being a minstrel. He decides to learn a style of dancing fighting moves. He is already very skilled in the art of dance and grace. Now all he needs is for someone to teach him how to translate that into fighting *GoT Syrio FTW!!!*.
Reason: This finally provides Raki with a feel of being needed. He is ecstatic to finally understand what he considers a dream prophecy to have meant.

~ Raki finally finds someone to teach him in the way of dance fighting. Though it is a lot harder then he would have imagined. He is using and straining muscles that he had thought he trained long ago. He is even tempted to give up. Maybe this teacher isn't really what his future held. But no, he needs to stick with it! He demands himself to stick with it, knowing that in the end, it will all be worth while and he will be able to finally help others instead of just singing about them.
Reason: Raki is finally able to start on his journey of what he thinks he is meant to do. It is draining and exhausting work. But the faith of him being able to do good work with what he will learn keeps him on track and having the faith in himself to continue.

Newbie: No
Prompt Response: Raki's eyes were closed, his mind empty and falling into sleep so quickly that he hadn't even noticed it. His dream eyes fluttering open. Warm sun light streaming through the branches hanging down in front of him. He wasn't quite sure how he had managed to fall asleep in the forest, but, he surely must have if he was waking up there. When he yawned, he squeezed all the tiredness out that was left in him from after his nap. Standing happily as the warmth of the sun beamed on him.

Though, he could almost swear, that right in front of him, there seemed to be a path where the forest got darker. How intriguing. Darkness in the middle of the day, it was almost laughable. Raki's mouth twitched up at the thought, though instead of laughing, he decided to start humming instead. Swishing his tail to the rhythm he had made as he high-stepped down the path to the dark part of the forest. Upon reaching the entrance of what seemed to be the path of the dark part of the forest, Raki slowed his high-stepping and cautiously moved forward, his humming breaking in parts. A small gulp as he prepared himself for some large own to pop out and scare him.

Something did pop out ahead, though it was neither an owl, nor large. Raki squinted just to try and make out what it was. Some kind of floating translucent green thing. It surely must be a bug. Raki tried to step as quietly as he could in a forest as he tried to closer without scaring the green bug-like thing. -snap-. Raki winced as the prickle of the broken stick prodded his ankle, just as its noice broke the silence he tried so hard to create.

The green creature darted into the trees as Raki's heart dropped from disappointment. Only to jump from surprise as the creature darted in front of him, flying close to his face. And it too had a face! A little human face, and body even. The young horse didn't dare breath as the little human slowly reached a hand out to his muzzle. Only to giggle and dart in a zig zag down the path. Raki breathed the breath that was caught in his throat and quickly followed her. Asuming she was not afraid of him, he tried to call out to her to get her to stop, but she just kept flyying down the dark path.

He followed her through a bush on the side of the path as she lunged forward. Raki's eyes were closed tight as to not get hurt from the brush, calling out "Wait! How are you so small? Are you really a human?" And he was through the brush to see a small clearing. I the middle, the green little creature was dancing gracefully on an old dead tree stump. Raki blinked his eyes at the creature. Her slender arms sweeping the air as her dance movements glided her across the stump almost as smoothly as her wings did. Fluttering every so often, as if to some inaudible tune.

Raki's steps were silent this time as he steped to her slowly, awe filling his small foal eyes. It was the most gorgeous thing he had seen. And then he noticed the little creatures mouth. It was moving. As if the little creature was singing, though no sound was coming from her either. She glidded higher, running her tiney thin hand over Raki's long jaw bone and opened her mouth wide, wpreading her arms wider.

Raki knew an inventation to sing when he saw one. He took a slow deep breath, and began to sing the words to a song he did not know. A song that just appeared in his heart at the moment he opened his muzzle. This happened often with him. What happened next had never happened to him before. Raki could feel his throat start to close prematurely. An green fog escaping his mouth as he breathed out his last few notes. The little female breathing in every whisp of fog and a burst of song escaped on her breath out. She smiled at the young foal and glided over to the stump. Landing and turning calmly to stand and look at him.

Raki was not so calm. His eyes grew wide as his mind screamed, and not a tremor of sound escaped him. He had lost it. No, he had not lost it, he knew exactly where it was. He rushed to the stump, trying to scream his hardest to get the female to understand him. He quickly started to hyperventilate and had to close his eyes as he took in deep breathes. The tiniest of relief felt when the females small slender hand rested over one of his nostrils.

Raki's breathing was finally in control. Slowly, he opened his eyes, realizing the hand had left his muzzle moments ago while he tried to calm. Eyes regained focus. Only to confuse his mind with what he saw. It was....him! But...green? He stared down at the tiny green version of himself on the stump. A silent exasperated chuckle making the female giggle. Raki's head shook in confusion as he heard the female giggle come from the tiny green version. She only gave a little smile in return and touched her tiny nose to his.

To Raki's surprise, when the female started to sing, it was in his voice. Though, a voice he had never used before. One with pitches and lows. A voice with long notes surrounded by quick blurbs being sung from the heart. It was almost enough to make the purple foal forget where he was and fall into the music as it enveloped him in the glade.

So enthralled by his own voice able to sound as the female used it, he had not seen the shadows creeping up the sides of the stump. Oozing and slinking till they reached the ledge of the stumps top. Silently, they struck the little female. Lashing out and burning her with their taint. Raki could only blink in horror as he processed the scene that had changed in a second. By the time the foal tried to reach out with his hoof, the female was swirling smaller and smaller, shadow covering more and more till....

Nothing. Nothing but the glade, the stump, and a voiceless Rakiard remained. His hoof hovered over the spot the female had disappeared from. Stunned. What would he do now? How could he explain this to his parents? There was no words to describe any thing that had gone on since Raki had entered that dark path. No words would ever echo from his muzzle again.

Tears fell onto the stump as all he could do was weep silently. Was there any point in going back to his parents now? Surely they would think him cured and banish him. Raki hiccuped a sob as the thought occurred to him that at least some might be happy with his new found silence. Some had never enjoyed how easily it was for him to burst into a humming spree. Or to string words together with notes.

Once again, wrapped in his own thoughts, Raki missed the movement at the edge of the ledge. One small green hoof appeared. Then another. Till finally, his smaller version was on the stump, yanking the remaining shadow off itself.

Raki's eyes burst wide with a flood of emotions. If he wasn't careful, he could bring this dead stump back to life with how much water was falling from his eyes. He stared hard at the green winged horse, was it really there? Was it really still alive? But its movements had not ceased. The small green creature grabbed a sturdy twig and jabbed at the shadow. Dodging its return strike as she spun in a circle. Twig blade hugged close to her body as she then lunged back at the shadow from another position.

Even if Raki had the ability to speak, he wouldn't know what to call the movement the small creature was using. It seemed as though it was fighting with some sort of dance. It was the most exciting thing the foal had ever seen!

In one last effort, the shadow bundled itself all together as small as it could, then leapt forward, stretching as far to the green female as far as it could. And failing. The female stabbed the twig in her mouth deep within the shadow. It convulsed and slunk down to the stump. As it lay there, unmoving, a leaf fell from the tree above them. Opening a small hole for light to come in and shine down on the shadow. Making it disappear, forever.

The small green creature stood on the stump, breathing heavy from the gap the twig made in her mouth. Wings drooping over her sweat streak side. She laid her twig gently on the stump when she had gotten her breathing under control. All Raki could do was gaze at the little him in wonder as it smiled sheepishly up at him. Was that really Him? Could He really do that some day? Fight in the style of dance that the small green creature had demonstrated?

His wondering was broken as the female voice came from his small body again. "Little one. Do not fret over the dangers that come your way. With the true heart you posses. And the bravery that has been passed down to you. You will do great things. Now, if you will, I would like for you to join me in one last song."

Raki frowned at her words. Last song? He would see his new friend again... wouldn't he? Even if she had taken his voice forever, surely if he took her to meet his parents, they would understand and not believe he was cursed. But with the little version of him patiently staring up at him, he gave a little nod and opened his mouth. Song exiting the tiny creature to once again enter Raki.

Almost unused to his voice, Raki gasped as his voice whinnied from his mouth. He stared deep into the creatures eyes as she gave a little smile and nodded to him, a little gesture to remind him of her last words to him.

Rakiard once again opened his eyes to sunlight. Though he was no where near the forest, or the dark path he had left the tiny creature. His head raised to take in his surroundings. His two older siblings playing happily. It was hard to keep the happy hum from escaping his throat. A smile crept to his lips as he thought while standing. Though, he shouldn't really care. On second thought, maybe he would try singing like the tiny version of him had. And the first ones he was sure to be happy to hear his happy tune, would of course be his mother and siblings. Happily, running over to greet them.

Anything Else?: Hot dang, this sounds like it can be so fun to rp *u*. Good luck, everyone 4laugh
