Umi was born the second of Sephiroth and Seth Balmore, She is the twin to Riku Balmore, When she met Senara she was one of the most talkitiv at the age of 5 years old. After what happened to Sephiroth and him becoming the Nightmare, Umi was very quiet. She didn't speak a word until Riku chose to go with the Darkness. That then triggered her yelling his name and to telling him not to leave her.
