"Something took root inside of her, and it blossomed a million little flowers."
"I have something I want to show you."
Just as she motions for her pants, she says, "It's not what you think." She then unbuttons and unzips her pants and slightly pulls down her blue underwear.
Sitting right on her womb is a little blue flower. But, at that angle a flower couldn't sit on her without falling off.
The flower quickly becomes a small, disturbing thing growing on my friend's body.
A spore took root inside her body and the roots spread, growing flowers all over her body. They're mostly little flowers, but there's still some variation in their sizes, but none of them are huge. The last root or flower that would cover her heart would kill her? But then flowers would keep growing until her whole body was covered? She wore long sleeves and whatnot to cover the flowers, but the lack of sunlight doesn't kill them. Did the spore take root in her heart and then spread from there? Did the process speed up when she came closer to death? The flowers started to get bigger the more her body was being covered, but the size variation was still there (she still grew little flowers).
"Something took root inside her sweet body/womb."
The flowers are all different, vivid colors.
"Some root...blossom..." <-- metaphor for like she had to get some self-esteem or find some greatness in herself and actually didn't reach its maximum greatness
transferring this from my phone, something that came to me one morning (12/21 lol)
the first part is narration (the first line is like the last line of the story lol- and the narrator's a guy), the 2nd part is my extra thoughts
i think the last part about the metaphor is supposed to be a question, but if not, i guess the deal is the girl had maybe a self-esteem issue, and the guy, her friend, tried helping her like realize her potential or whatever, "something took root inside her," but actually she couldn't fulfill that potential b/c evidently the real spore inside her killed her haha,,,
idk any background info on the girl's affliction lol 'XD
im pretty sure inspiration for this was vague memories of "grim fandango" lol 'XD
