Why is every second avatar monochrome (or near it)?!?
~ December - January ~< In December I was trying to use Melodious Cantata, so this avi is a result of using items in my invo that matched the blue-grey-green. She's supposed to be some dangerous cutie? Yeah, look at those swirls from her nunchuku. I like the combination I used for the dress (Modus Operandi, Pale Triplet and Berry Mousse Royale). I was called adorable twice!

~ February - March ~< February's monochrome avi was based around Serpentine Raiments. Nurse Hazard boots are awesome, but I had to wear the pouch from Pistolera's Revenge to cover the green. Itty-bitty pinch of influence from SAO, the duel-wielding, black swordsman, Kirito!
> The March avi was built around Paramour's Break. Knox's Shirt provided the blue-black colour scheme, and the rest of the avatar was a combination of items in my invo. Virgil's Sinister Verdict sleeves cover the purple on the Zodiacal bow, but would be really impractical if she were to actually use it.
~ April - May ~< April's avi was inspired by Armor Ryder Boots. The rest of the avi is an amalgamation of silver/black/grey items. I think she'd be some sort of draconic-knight-elf? I reckon the pointy part of her Pistolera's Revenge shoulder guard would poke her in the eye if she tried to defend herself with her puny shield...
> The poses of Dark Heart (released in May) served as the focal point of this avi. Annise's hat and boots were originally combined with Illyncia's Honor hair, but I found the brown too hard to match. Sweet Strudel's braid was much easier to work with.
~ June - June ~< June's first avi was based around Dakuwaqa's layered belt. I picked out a few navy/black/white items and layered them together. Then layered a bunch of horns on the head to balance. Soot stains from Sweetheart Sweeper helps tie it all together. She looks like some sort of demon-zombie?
> Based around the combo of Fly to the Moon and Pious Cleric, this avi is a cutesy magical girl. I finally found a use for the SOF Tundra I bought. The combo of Satin Hairbow and SDPlus Apprentice Charm makes it look like there's bows on each pigtail!
~ July - July ~< I bought Princess of the Universe, so I made this. Trilune's Promise layered well with the Keiongaku Style dress, so I just added a few bows and ruffles. It's a pretty simple avi. She's a monochrome princess who loves cakes and strawberries...
> I picked up Icy Ascension for a decent price and made this avi around it. I dug out the Sweet Frosting I'd bought earlier, but never managed to incorporate into an outfit and a bunch of other bright blue items. It was a bit tricky to find gloves that matched. The Blue Konpeito were added a while later (after they were released).
~ August - September ~< This avi inspired by Emerald Dream was sitting in my closet for a while, but I couldn't find the right shoes for it. I gave up on that, added Art of Espionage, the moon from Lumiere Noire and tweaked a few other items. I also threw on the Roxie Richter I'd bought earlier in the day.
> I started with the eyes from Moira's Fashion Flashback, combined with Paramour's Break bangs. Added a bit more pink with the Succubi's Modesty bow and threw on Kaede's Hope headpiece. Then sprinkled on more blue/purple/yellow. So colourful!
~ October - November ~< A Halloween avi, this monochrome mage ended up with blue accents. I'd recently bought Nero's Just Verdict, Faust's Bottle, Pandalita and Lamenting Lucie, so they formed the base. Akademeia Blue's hat looked cute and more blue accents were added to balance it out.
> Another blue avi, the core item was the arms from Sapphire Cave. The blue matched Healer Lorraine and Follower of Easter Bunny, both items that I'd bought but not worn. Magick'd Missive aligned well with the tip of the pickaxe, so I added more blue flames to match.
~ December ~< Started with a combo of Regal Harvest Skirt and Queen's Vengeance bustier. SC: Eros wimple had similar copper/gold detailing and Between Two Lungs circlet added some cream. Reve Rouille's sleeves don't have the same red, but it's close enough.
