I feel someone shoving my shoulder. Opening my eyes, I see Ada. She looks at me and puts her index finger to her lip, then she points outside of the cave. I get up and slowly grab my gun, to prevent as much sound as I can. Looking outside, I see Chris and Claire. They're looking around. I look at Ada, then back at the others. The sun is up now. Chris either fell asleep or decided he could stay up. Interupting my train of thought, a sound comes behind me. Turning, I see Ada do the same. The noise is low, and sort of a groan. The sound is getting louder,"Ada, run!"
She takes off, and I follow. Chris and Claire turn to us and aim after were out. Zombies follow. Ada and I turn, aiming and firing imediately. The hoard keeps coming, though.
Chris,"We'll run out of bullets. We have to leave."
Looking around, I see no where aside from the woods to escape to,"Sh**...."
Taking another look, I see something off in the distance. It looks like a more rocky terrain,"Ada, Claire. Behind me, on my left there's something in the distance. Run over there, we'll follow."
Claire,"We're not leaving..."
"Just go!"
Ada goes, and then Claire. After a few seconds,"On the count of 3."
Chris"1.....2.....3!"
We run as fast as we can, dodging trees and bushes. I can hear the zombies behind us. Up ahead, Ada and Claire are standing. That can only mean.....sh**....so close....
