Name: Bonnie Ambrose
Gender: Female
Birthday: April 24th
House: Ravenclaw
Blood Status: Mixed Blood
Wand: Dragon Heart String, 12 inch, ash.
Wand Hand: Left.

PERSONALITY
General: Bonnie is logical and organized, before she does anything she makes sure she has the right tools and is about to use them in the right order. She struggles to understand anything illogical or without meaning. She doesn't like conflict and will only use magic for practical purposes. Can be quite shy around people she doesn't know.
Habits: Chewing on her bottom lip and over-thinking things when tired or stressed.
Hobbies: Baking fairy cakes, word puzzles and during the colder months she likes to knit.
Likes: Cake. Puzzles, riddles and the like. Age old stories and tales.
Dislikes: Conflict, loud noises and being disturbed while she's working.

FAMILY
Mother: Arabella Diederich, Pureblooded German witch from a wealthy family, attended Beauxbatons and now lives in France.
Father: Sebastian Rupert Ambrose, mixed-blood and a former Ravenclaw Prefect from back in the day. Now has a boring desk job within the ministry.
Siblings: None as of yet.
Extended Family: Alison Bell ('grandmother') - A little old woman that lived next door, she took care of Bonnie when she was younger while her father was at work. A Pureblood witch, former Gryffindor and queen of the fairy cakes. Bonnie considers her her grandmother and Alison finally had the granddaughter she'd always wanted.
Relationship with Family: Bonnie loves her father dearly and absolutely adores her 'grandmother'. She gets on well with the rest of the Ambrose family (that she's met so far) too.
Since the split, however, she has had no contact with her mother or her side of the family. Probably for the best.

HISTORY
General History: Sebastian met Arabella while in France working on a case for his old department in the ministry. They lived next door to one another for several months while he worked the case and during that time the two became inseparable. Dates, cuddles and holding hands like the two love birds they were.

However, Sebastian had soon finished the case and was called back to London to present it to the head of the department. Arabella did not want to leave France and remained behind as her love returned to his home country. The only contact they had for the next few weeks was via owl and the two pined for one another.

On a warm September evening, Sebastian returned home from work to find a letter waiting for him on the kitchen table. It was not what he'd been expecting at all. During their whirlwind romance in France, Arabella had fallen pregnant with his child. After much discussion, it was finally agreed that she would come and stay with him in England so they could live properly as a couple.

Things went went until the birth of their child. Arabella had wanted a little boy and though she did initially try and make an effort with her daughter, it just wasn't meant to be. Bonnie May Liesel Ambrose (May was his mothers name, Liesel was Arabella's mother) was the name given to her by her father.

Sebastian doted on his daughter, he spent all the time he could with her and was always buying her new clothes and toys. Though Bonnie tried many times to get her mothers attention, it was in vain, Arabella just wasn't interested in her little girl. The rest of the Diederich family didn't want to know their newest addition either, they'd wanted a male to carry the family name and were severely disappointed at the arrival of a little girl.

Two years after Bonnie's birth and their first argument, Arabella left England and returned to France to continue her life as if nothing had happened. Sebastian struggled to juggle work and take care of his young daughter, had Alison not stepped in to help, he didn't know how he would have coped. Since Sebastian had first shown her Bonnie at only a few days old, she'd offered to babysit whenever the two needed time alone. However, Arabella had taken advantage of this and was leaving her daughter with the old witch on a daily basis while she went out.

The years passed and with love and attention from both father and 'grandmother', Bonnie grew into a clever little lady with a flair for baking. Sebastian liked to give his daughter riddles and puzzles to keep her brain sharp and Alison enjoyed teaching her 'granddaughter' how to cook. After much preparation and revision, Bonnie received high grades in her muggle school and was over the moon the day her acceptance letter for Hogwarts arrived!

MISCELLANEOUS
The Sorting: "Ambrose, Bonnie." To say she was a little nervous was a bit of an understatement. As soon as she took a small step forward, she could feel hundreds of pairs of eyes fall upon her and it was quite intimidating. But she could do this, she knew it! Taking a deep breath, she took her place upon the stool and the hat was placed upon her head. She didn't care which house she was placed into, she was here to learn and not to become a part of a house's bad reputation. The Sorting Hat took a moment, trying to decide between two possible houses and in the end, decided on "Ravenclaw!". Oh! That was her fathers house too! An ever so pleased smile spread across her lips as she all but skipped towards the table cheering for her.

Boggart: Bonnie would see herself stood alone in the darkness. When the Riddikulus charm is used, her father and grandmother would appear and the darkness surrounding her would disappear.

Mirror of Erised: Bonnie would see herself in a meaningful job, with her father and grandmother standing either side with proud expressions.

EXTRA CREDIT

Patronus: Stoat - This is her fathers registered Animagus form, when she was younger he would transform into a stoat and they'd spend hours chasing one another around the house.

Greatest Treasure: A teddy bear that's seen better days. It used to belong to her father and is missing it's left eye, all of it's nose and it's right leg is hanging on by a thread. She keeps it in her bedside table and whenever she's missing home, she'll get it out and cuddle up with it.

Manner of Dress: For casual, every day wear she likes to dress in muggle clothes. Blouses and t-shirts with decorative patterns, tight jeans or leggings, old fashioned boots and if it's cold out, she'll throw on her favourite old coat she found in a second hand shop.

If it's a formal occasion she has a section of her wardrobe filled with ball gowns that look as though they are each from a different time period.

Bonnie does not like wearing brightly coloured clothing. Blacks and dark shades of red and blue are her favourite.

Favorite Class: Transfiguration - it's challenging and always fun.

Worst Class: Divination - she would much rather read a book than the swill at the bottom of her mug.
