Within the depths of my soul there is a key, and deeper yet a lock. When the two become one the darkness will fall away and reveal truth itself in a shower of radiance. None have reached the key, nor the lock buried beneath the blanket of shadows in which they rest. Ever deeper they sink in the mire of infidelity, strife, and eternal solitude. Ever darker the the shadows grow,shutting out the warmth and life giving light which ties me to humanity. Ever colder I grow. Day by day, minute by minute, second by precious second. All the while dreaming of the simple kindness and warm touch of loves gracious caress.
