People often question how I'm expecting to make a living off of fine art
They often suggest that I should consider a design path/go digital
and while I feel like I should to a degree
I don't think that there should be as much of a split as there is

I have seen so many complaints about theft lately
theft of technique, of style, of compositions, and of course of entire works

I'm going to be blunt and say that's in a large part their own fault
They have not branded their art sufficiently
They have let it be too portable
If one is aiming for even the least bit of recognition
some restraint must be applied

I aim to create grounded yet pliable work. It should be able pass between material and digital, but both should be a different experience.

And that's why I'll probably never get a job at a design firm~
