Stars gaia_star
The stars twinkle in the moonlight.
Offset by a dark shade of blue sky.
The moon is the center of it all.
The stars guide their way through the dark lit night.
Pondering every few moments.
They act as if they dance in joy and happiness, untouched by the world.
Then again, they are untouched by the world, by anything.
If stars were people, they wouldn’t last long in this world.
I guess it’s a good thing that they aren’t.
For, if they were, they would be the loneliest beings on the planet.
To think, some people may feel like the stars in the night sky.
The only difference between them, is that stars are laid out on a thin sheet of blue velvet sky.
Colliding with each other, the blotches of yellow silk, clashing with the darkened blue velvet.
Stars are just as beautiful as a mid summer’s day.
The yellow paint spilt on the dark blue canvas.
They don’t clash, they look as if they belong.
If only people believed that they were as beautiful as stars,
Then they might believe that they could do anything.
Then, we might not be afraid anymore.
